How do you feel about fancy subtitle tricks and gimmicks? For example, my Umaru subtitles give a bunch of weird effects, like fairly tasteful usage of "Caution" tape put over the eyecatches and the logo in the OP. There's a lot of this for OPs, like Sword Art Online's OP from Commie (Commie does a lot of this shit). I even had a copy of Another that inserted this meme into the scene.
I think it's shit in serious series, but cool in bad series like SAO and meme series like Free! and Umaru.
What's up with the "Sub pictures to Buffer" option in my MPC HC (with K-Lite Codecs) options? I don't get how I should be setting it, I tried messing with it and some options make the meme-subs flash in and out, and sometimes it even fucks with my subs when any extra subs pop up, like when a character is reading a text message both the message and the dialogue subs will go away for a minute.

Probably the only subtitle trick I'm alright with is the way Mori presents TL notes on his subs. I think they work well.
