RedNAND and emuNAND are two different implementations of the same thing. emuNAND is the old format Gateway (and every CFW) uses, while RedNAND is a newer format that most CFW's can use. The only difference between the two is that RedNAND is smaller. Get the term emuNAND out of your head, it's worthless to you.
You'll also only need it to set up A9LH unless you're a lazy bones and want to half ass this and end up with super long boot times, a 20% boot rate, and no sysNAND.
It takes a few hours because backing up and restoring NANDs is mostly time just spent waiting until you can move on to the next step, and downgrading a N3DS to 9.2 is a bitch if you have to do it. It's not risky or anything, the exploit is just super unstable and won't boot 99% of the time.
To get DS/3DS ROMs and be all stable, you can actually cut out a few of what you have listed. Basically, all you need is A9LH + Luma + Micro SD for 3DS shit, and R4i Gold + another Micro SD for DS shit. 16GB is enough to put every DS game worth owning on, but it's your call on how big of a Micro SD card you want for your 3DS itself.

Newer PSP 3000's can't have a permanent CFW solution, so do some research before you dive straight in. If you can get a Vita under 3.52 or some shit, you can pirate PSP ISO's on it if you're okay with not being able to update your system or play newer games. It's a major pain in the ass to do it though.

It's not the PSP 3000s that block permanent CFW; it's the later 2000 models. But that isn't as much of a hindrance as it sounds, all that means is that you use lite CFW instead.
Lite CFW just means you open a file each time you turn the system on and it reboots in CFW mode. It only takes a few seconds.
And if that still frustrates you, you can use Infinity which is a hybrid CFW, but that takes longer to install.

Every PSP model can have CFW. For newer 3000 models, the CFW is temporary, and you'll have to run an EBOOT every time you turn your system off. A PSP 2000 is just a 3000 with a worse screen, but early 2000 models can have a permanent CFW solution AND be completely brick proof because they can take a Pandora's Battery which forces the console to boot from the memory stick. Later 2000's, all 3000's, and all E models don't support Pandora Batteries, but you have to go out of your way to brick a PSP, so this is all a moot point.

It's only possible with Smash if you have a N3DS, and you need to do a bunch of shit with your Wi-Fi to transmit files that Smash will detect. It's ridiculously unreliable, and that's assuming you have the technical knowledge to set it all up.

What I did to solve it is put in a tiny, wadded-up piece of paper in-between the plastic case and where that ribbon cable bends when you put the screen back in position. If PS2 games are important, get a BC model that specifically states that the thermal paste was replaced, and turn the fans up real high
If PS2 games aren't important, just get the cheapest slim available
PS2 BC is nowhere near as big of a deal as people make it seem, since you can get a fat PS2 + Network Adapter for under $40, a HDD for $60 tops, a FreeMCBoot MC for $20, and component cables for $4.
The PS3's have to be on 3.55, make absolute sure of that.

It's a file server. The PS2 can see files over a network and will play games over the network. It's a little slower than running from a disc but miles better than a USB drive.

Is it NNID truly needed? My friend's 3ds got a 007 something whenever he got into eshop. When I googled it they say the problem is because of different region on system setting and NNID. I told him to change the region and he did, but he still got the error. He can still play online, though. tested with FL and MH. Any thought? It's a bitch to translate is the issue. Some dude already showed a proof of concept that it can be translated, but there's a couple of complications:
1.) A lot of the text is image based (3D images at that) and would require new custom images for a LOT of the dialog in cinematics.
2.) The game is old. It came out years before CFW was even a thing (let alone fan translations for 3DS games), so it got buried under the mountain of other games.
3.) The text itself is in some wonky format. It's certainly doable, but it's generally annoying as hell.

You can use it to run a Pro CFW. As far as I can tell it's something like a bootloader based on 6.20 firmware which chainloads your chosen CFW.
