That's at least what I used to do back when I used menuhax instead of a9lh.
Also, please remember. a9lh is an entrypoint just like menuhax. a9lh and emuNAND aren't mutually exclusive.
Having an emuNAND can be helpful if you are a dumpfag, to have a region-changed emuNAND while still keeping your original region (so you don't have to region emulate every game that you own).

A9LH is unrelated and just a different way to launch that's much better than menuhax but needs some hours to set up, you can do that later. It's worth it but not as urgent as ditching rxTools right now.

Most games disable time-based events for a day or 2 after changing the time and then playing the game again. Grab config.cia from http://pastebin.com/UGRA349r and use the raw RTC setting to move your system ahead 2 days, it should fix it. It's also a pretty consistent way to cheat time if you really want to.

Like any other game like this just wait a day, it's an anti-cheat measure that goes away the next day. In Pokemon Shuffle you can't play special stages if you change the time unless you check in, and in Pokemon Picross you can't do the daily challenge for a day, in Animal Crossing Resetti yells at you, and in Yokai Watch 2 you're barred from using the Crank-a-kai.

If you did a9lh+luma quite a while ago there was a firmware.bin that you were told to add into the luma folder for ntr.
you no longer need this as NTR can now be loaded on 11nfirm, go to the end of the guide and grab the new fork of NTR and remove the firmware.bin from your luma folder, this will stop emulating old nfirm and more than likely speed up your system.

a9lh v1 is handy since most .bin's right now are compatible with it.
v2 will become more useful once injecting whole CFWs into nand becomes standard and more .bins are made to use it.
