I tried using Q's combination on the quantum computer and on the truth door, and I still get nothing.

Well, the player is a 4D being to them. We even forced Kyle consciousness to 2028.

Kyle and ? were teased as such huge parts of ZTD. They likely dropped one of them and therefore had to drop the other as well.

Yeah and he could have pulled another Ever17 on us, which I would have really liked. The concept of the player being some kind of outside entity in the game's world blew my mind back when I played it. Instead we gotayy lmaosand retconnedBrother.
As of now that whole 30 minute epilogue in VLR was just a stupid way to say "thx for playing, pls buy sequel". It's just one of the things that left a bitter taste in my mouth after finishing the game.
