Nah man if they're on my Steam at least they're in my collection. Some "DRM free" shit is no difference from whatever I download off TPB.
>>
If the emulation is standard and there's no real online or other features, this collection is pretty meaningless. Now if it was unified into a single launcher, ahd good controller & online support, etc etc maybe it'd be worth looking at, but when these companies can't do better than the fans who slap half-working emulation together, its not worth my money.

Nice idea, though.

>>
>>319441975

It's not like humble needs advertising. Some of their top sellers have gotten near seven digit sales, if they haven't gone over it. Pretty sure they don't bother doing dinky shit like 4chan shilling anymore.

We do all their word of mouth for them twice a week anyway.
>>
>>319443235
I see.
I don't care about Gaben's jewish system (I used to before, but then I started to realize that I was just spending and accumulating games without ever playing them), but if that's your thing, it's understandable.
>>
I can't see the appeal of paying $10 for a bunch of emulated ROMs.

I mean, with the virtual console on eshop, at least you get miiverse integration. At least with steam games, you get a community you can discuss the game in or achievements or something.

Just buying DRM emulators seems like a waste of money.

>>
>>319444360
Eyup I honestly feel stuck with it. Before I started buying on Steam sales I pirated almost exclusively. Now I have over 100 games I never even installed because I don't have the time or motivation for them.
All because of my ex. And now she's my ex. Fucking shit.
In all seriousness I've considered abandoning this account to start over, but in the end it doesn't seem worth it, I don't know. I have a small handful of "friends" I don't even like, I could logically just delete them, but most of them would probably go as far as to bother asking my relatives about it. Just hiding off on a new account would be so much nicer, and I can even Steam share to myself, but well... I dunno.

If you actually want these games, $10 for 98U and 2002U alone isn't a bad deal at all($5 each, which would be about as cheap as you're likely to see them on sale for a long time.)

Most everything else is easily emulatable unless the metal slug versions have added shit(I don't like metal slug, so I don't know what's on the steam versions,) so don't buy it for that unless you're having a moralfag attack or really want to drop some charity dosh.
>>
>>319444927
Fightcade is only for online gaming.
>>
>>319444360
I can get a lot of the money back with networking and trading cards, but you have to know what you're doing.
>>
I don't get it. You can play ALL of them on the page itself. Why would you pay?

I'd say leaving the first tier for free would be a nice touch in case you like them and want to get the rest but this method is kinda pointless. Am I missing anything?
>>
>>319445198
the emulator it uses works offline just fine
>>
>>319445270

Page will be gone in two weeks. Some people might want them after that, I dunno.

There's always the emulator argument of course, but Humble's not going to have them all up there for you to play forever.

>>319442105

Capcom bundle was very good. I even managed to trade some keys for extra games, definitely one of the best spent $15.

I'm so sorry. Back when HIB actually had value, I paid $0.01 each for a dozen of Frozen Synapse bundles, one of their earliest. I traded each of them for $5+ worth of other games; the best 1:1 trade I ever did was one of these for Orcs Must Die! when it was newly released.

It's nice to have the option at least. The exes will always be there for you. It's all just preference. You may even know people eventually who would want to give exes to.
