lol have fun investing into two useless feats to get one to carry you in the air with a 30ft. fucking fly speed.
>>
>>48189117
Pegasi are monotremes so you can breed them and have them back in action far quicker than a horse.
>>
>>48189125
Speaking of feats, you don't have to invest any at all to be able to ride a horse or have one as an animal companion, so that's instantly another plus as to why horses are a superior mount :^)

When I made a class centered around nonlethal combat, I created a mechanic called Daunt, which was a nonlethal version of negative levels. It included this text.

>For Daunt Levels to impose a penalty or the staggered condition, the subject must be capable of using Language-Dependent skills. Though this requirement may seem strange, it prevents animals, savage beasts, berserkers, or those of severe mental impairment from being daunted as they do not properly understand the concept of a hopeless fight. It also allows intelligent undead and awakened constructs to be Daunted. There is no limit to how many daunt levels someone can suffer, but the penalty does not exceed their hitdice.

That's the easiest way to define sapient intelligence in d20 in a mechanics sense.

>>
>>48189636

Athanatism can be found in Psionics Augmented: Seventh Path:
https://www.sendspace.com/file/w7a5o8

It is a very strangely-balanced discipline. On one hand, a large portion of its powers are useless in the majority of scenarios, since they are only useful against incorporeal creatures.

On the other hand, Bring Forth the Soul (conduit 2) can force the soul of a dead creature to return, answer questions, and possibly be destroyed by the manifester forever. Corporeal Haunt (dread 3 and psion/wilder 4) can create eternally-lasting, powerful haunts that the manifester is immune to, including Ghastly Whispers. Moan of the Sorrowful Dead (dread 2, psion/wilder 3, and psychic warrior 3) is one of the best psionic save-or-lose powers available, forcing a 10-foot-radius of enemies to flee.

The conduit discipline's class features are also poorly-worded, roughly on par with Psionics Augmented: Psion Focused Disciplines. Hand of the Grave at 14th-level is practically an instant loss against most enemies, and the Straddling Both Worlds comes at 1st-level by RAW rather than 20th-level as it is supposed to. (That is a new one for you, Gareth.)

A few other issues with Seventh Path have been brought up here:

I've a question about the trove on Mega - I know this isn't /g/ but I could use a hand. Trying to download it in chrome gives me an error saying it ran out of html5 offline storage. Cleared the cache and that didn't help either.

Tried again with firefox with the Mega addon, but it crapped out at 85% converted on a 500kbps connection after rejecting the addon for some reason.

So, those of you on Chrome/Edge, how did you do it?

Your google-fu is weak, grasshopper

>ok, i tried all of these things and none of them worked, but i figured out something on my own. when you download something thru mega it puts it into a special folder on your hard-drive that can be deleted by navigating to it. if you are downloading multiple large files, it doesn't always delete the old one when you move on to the next and you will run out of space. combine that with the steps from the other commenter about deleting the cookie and you should be golden.

>(your location may vary slightly, i don't know, dig around in this area till you find the huge file clogging your system and that will be your folder)

>if you are running out of space it is probably a large file, while the file in this folder will not have the same name as the file you are downloading, the size should be the dead giveaway, delete it and continue your massive downloads :)

I'm about to play a Pathfinder game and wanna try out a druid, but I'm really new to the game system, so I've a few questions regarding them:
1) Is a shapeshifting specialized druid viable? (Think 4e druid paragon path or the WoW feral type)
2) Are druids a gamebreaking class? (I've heard about this being a general problem with casters in Pathfinder.)

Pic related would be fun as fuck to play as a druid, though not sure how to make the evil alignment thing work with one (let's be honest, anything that looks like that is NOT there to tuck you in before bedtime.)

http://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/combat-feats/silent-kill-combat

>You are quite adept at killing your prey without making noise or alerting others.

>Prerequisite(s): Stealth 12 ranks; assassinate advanced slayer talent or ninja master trick.

>Benefit: When you kill a creature during a surprise round, you can attempt a Stealth check, opposed by the Perception checks of potential observers, to prevent them from noticing your action and subsequently identifying you as the assailant.

Friendly reminder that you need to be a high-level ninja or slayer and take a feat to kill people stealthily.
>>
>>48190164
Or be a Sussatore from DSP, which while a cool ability, I don't really get why it's locked into a PRC.

Silent Blade (Su): The presence of the sussurratore
muffles the sounds of any battle in which they par-
ticipate, stifling the normal ring and din of combat.
When the sussurratore rolls initiative (or after the
surprise round, if there is one), she may also make a
Stealth check. Creatures not in combat with her must
succeed at a Perception check (DC equal to the sussur-
ratore’s Stealth check) in order to hear the sounds of
the battle, applying the usual penalties for distance
or distraction. This replaces the usual DC to hear the
sounds of battle. This ability muffles the sounds of
battle within medium range (100 ft. plus 10 ft. per
class level) of the sussurratore; combat outside of this
range may be heard normally.
>>
>>48190164
Or a Rogue. Which does kind of cover all the sneaky kill options, a raging 2H Barbarian isn't exactly the most subtle thing in a room.
>>
>>48190164
Oh, don't forget, you still have to deal with literally all the normal penalties that you'd face with this check. The feat doesn't eliminate those at all. They're still in full effect.

AKA: It's a feat that requires 12th level and does literally nothing, AND has restrictive requirements for it doing said nothing.

Alright friends, need an idea.

I've been playing an Inquisitor that is hunting a bloodmage from his homeland. The DM wants to make him a boss, and we're thinking a bloodrager would be good. What bloodline would you suggest to have on him for a party of 8 level 3s to fight?

Well, he's not the main villain (got his powers from the Big Bad) but he's responsible for everything we've had to deal with so far (demon wolves, bandits turning into giant abominations, a party member being sacrificed for some ritual) so we think he needs to be a challenge.

How mean-spirited would it be to use this to distort the party high-Knowledge character's "recollected knowledge" of an NPC?

Lords of the Night, page 53:
>MYRA’S OCCULTATION
>Discipline: Telepathy [mind-affecting]
>Level: cryptic 2, dread 2, psion/wilder 3, tactician 3
>Display: None
>Manifesting Time: 1 standard action
>Range: Personal
>Target: You
>Duration: 1 hour/level (D)
>Saving Throw None Power Resistance No
>Power Points: cryptic 3, dread 3, psion/wilder 5, tactician 5

>You distort the way others perceive and remember you, making it hard for creatures to recall knowledge of you and your kind. Creatures attempting Knowledge checks to identify you and your traits (such as abilities or weaknesses) suffer a -4 penalty to do so. This does not affect Knowledge checks made to research you or information related to you (such as at a public library) or other forms of information-gathering related to you (such as Sense Motive or Diplomacy checks). Creatures that fail Knowledge checks to identify you and your traits learn false information instead of learning nothing.

>Augment: You may augment this power in the following ways:

>1. For every additional power point you spend, the penalty to Knowledge checks increases by 2.

>2. If you spend 2 additional power points, you may determine the form of misinformation learned by creatures failing their Knowledge checks.

A 8th-level cryptic or dread with this and Overchannel can spend 3 + 5 + 2 = 10 power points to impose a -14 penalty on Knowledge checks to and dictate the type of disinformation any hapless Knowledge-users receive.

For that matter, it would also work on characters with mediocre Knowledge modifiers. Upon meeting the occulted psionicist, they could be asked to make Knowledge checks to see what they know about said psionicists, and then promptly receive DC 10 "common knowledge" that is actually distorted disinformation.

>>48190366

I am not skilled at crafting combat encounters in Pathfinder at all. I was always far more capable of doing so in D&D 4e, wherein I had honed the art of "each major encounter brings the party to the jaws of defeat, only for the characters to subsequently achieve a heroic comeback."

I try to build Pathfinder combat encounters on behalf a Planescape-running GM and have taken to giving monsters counters or counter-equivalents (e.g. dragons with Emergency Force Sphere), but I am still not confident in the mechanical integrity of these battles.

I have never single-handedly GMed Pathfinder in the past. I do plan on GMing Pathfinder in the immediate future, using a heavily modified, expanded, one-on-one version of the "Temple of Empyreal Enlightenment" premade scenario. I would offer to run it for others one-on-one, but since I am tailoring this adventure for a lone 8th-level wizard at heavy optimization, anyone else would have to build a similarly high-powered character, and that is too much to ask for a brief adventure.

Do you have access to 3rd party material? Because Spheres of Power's Shifter class would probably be the best option for pic related if so. Druids have to pick an animal and be that animal, Shifters (and anyone with the Alteration sphere, really, including the Druid archetype that gains Sphere casting... but Shifters do it best) get to pick and choose different traits and body parts and so on.

Yes, Monkey Lunge is useless. Prone Shooter /was/ useless, but has since been errata'd to do something. I don't even know why people keep bringing that up, it was changed in fucking 2014.

Is it an option you can take?
Yes?
Is it an option that's worthwhile, ever?
No.
Is the intention of feats/traits supposed to be that there's a reasonable amount of benefit from them, which you can access either a good portion of the time for decent benefit, or more rarely for more benefit?
Yes.
Does that feat do either of those?
No.
That's why it's non-functional.
>>
>>48191083
And going by how /pfg/ rates feats, that means just about everything that isn't Power Attack is non-functional.
>>
>>48191114
I mean, literally like 90-95% of the feats in PF are worthless. It's got bloat just like 3.5 did, just like every big system does.

But that 5-10% varies from "Okay, it's decent" to "Sacred Geometry"

That just proves that /pfg/ has at least two brain cells to rub together. The vast majority of PF feats are absolute dreck and many are bad enough to be hardly worth the effort of writing them on your character sheet.

Alright. Gareth promised there would be recaps of his sessions for his new game and I drew the straw for the first session. Apologies if I don’t tell the story well.

First, let the actors take the stage. All veterans of Ebberon’s Last War in some way or another. All about to be haunted by it’s shadow again.

Gwen Arendt - Aasimar Knight Chandler: A daughter of Aundair Puritans, she avoided military conflict during the last war. She did, however, experience serious hatred by her countrymen for her religion by her countrymen and saw her share of back alley fights. Now a student at Arcanix and hopeful for the Knights Arcane.

Araceli - Ethumion Ravenlord: A young Cyran patriot, determined to do her best for queen and country. She survived the mourning by being on the Valenar front. The Mourning shattered her as deeply as her country, spinning off all her negativity and despair into her Raven.

Ginny - Human Hunter: A Thranish war beast trainer during the last war, she has now lost her business and been forced to turn to adventuring to make ends meet. Followed by a mutant wolf, Tonn, that she was never able to make obey anyone else.

Irisie Vitraille - Elf Shattered Mind Occultist: An Audiar elf who failed at all she attempted during the war. She lacked skill in the arcane, the divine would not speak with her and her mind lacked the discipline to call upon psionic power; she never managed to complete any of the training she attempted until she tried to meld them each in turn...just in time for the war to end. Haunted by the fact she never managed to help anyone during the war.

Gwynne - Silver Dragon Hatchling: The adopted daughter of Breland adventurers who found her egg, she has set off on adventure to help her parents afford a new home after their last home was burned to the ground during the Last War. Her parents have no idea where she has gone.
>>
>>48191387
While grappled or after an enemy moves adjacent to you, and you want to cast without provoking? Not everyone plays an Arcanist with their bullshit "teleport as a 5-foot step" ability.

Our scene opens with the clatter and crackle of a lightning rail. Each member of the group has been hired in Sharn for an adventuring job, to help clear out an old mansion. It’s so late that it’s nearly morning but few are sleeping right now.

Gwynne is in her usual form of an elven young teenager and getting tired of being cooped up for hours, Irisie and Gwyn are reading books, Araceli is staring out a window and Tonn is in a staring contest with Gwynne while his owner naps. The only other person in the carriage is a Warforged in heavy robes.

“Are we there yet? Gwynne asks for the mind-shatteringly nth time.

Gwyn rolls her eyes as the mystic takes notes from her textbook. “No, we are not. You could go for a walk down the train if you are bored.”

Morning mist is starting to rise up about the train as the Warforged does a close approximation of clearing his throat, interrupting an oft-repeated talk about boredom.

“Do you mind if I open the window?”

Ginny blearily opens her eyes and looks about. “Yeah, go ahead and open one.” She slurrs as the wolf breaks the staring contest and heads back to his mistress.

The warforged opens the window, letting in the warm night breeze. Outside, the mist continues to rise, well beyond where normal fog belongs. The warforged stands and opens the door into the next cabin. He pauses, as he steps through, and turns back with something like regret. "Forgive me," he murmurs, before he shuts the door. At the open window, the mist begins to trail into the car…
>>
>>48189060

Actually, what does a dragon get from a rider? I mean, it's already a fucking dragon. One lance or one girl firing arrows isn't going to make that much of a difference, and you won't be able to hit shit with a sword.

I always thought it's only young dragons who let guys ride them into battle, because it's the equivalent of going on a kegger with your bro and getting blackout drunk.

> "Dude, we're so fucking awesome!"

Gwyn shrugs and returns to her book as Ginny and Gywnne start to worry, the former going for the door as the latter freaks out at the sudden mist. Araceli just thinks that warforged are funny in the head.

The mist through the open window - higher than it has any right to be - billows and expands into the train car. In moments, it has swallowed the small space, turning vision into an empty whiteness. Sound muffles, turning even the rattle of the tracks and the sway of the train into a distant memory. The door that was so firm beneath Ginny's fingers just a moment before feels like a phantom, something she's not sure is there, and even the smells are gone. Stillness reigns.

As people fumble through the fog, trying to find each other the train lurches hard and people stumble. The fog starts to clear and it soon becomes obvious that the train they are all standing in is not the one they were in a moment ago. The furnishings are spartan and almost bare - more courtesy than comfort - and filled with supplies. Salted beef, whiskey, medical supplies and such. What’s more, they have company.

A trio of lightly armoured men with hatchets, alchemical fire and white tabards with an orange flame on it are with them.

The leader of them curses. "There weren't supposed to be bloody guards. Where'd you come from?"

Gwynne looks about in confusion “Where'd we come from? Where'd YOU come from? What the hell happened to our train? And where'd that walking tin can go? I'm gonna give him a piece of my mind."

The men look at one another, then at the group. The one in the lead growls a curse. "Fuck this. Blow the whiskey crates, we'll all burn together." The two men flanking him reach for for their alchemical fire…

Gwyn is quicker on the draw than they are however. She draws her blade in a smooth motion and lashes out. The man she goes for has to abandon his alchemical fire in order to manage to parry the electrified blade.

There's some rule where your reach is the same length regardless of your mount's size, but attacks can be made from any square your mount occupies. So a Medium creature riding a Gargantuan mount can attack any square adjacent to his mount instead of only squares his character adjacent to.

Gwyn and Gwynne blanch and the latter loses her lunch out of a nearby window at the sudden gore. This makes Gwynne the first to see something impossible. Rather than the twelve moons of Ebberon in the sky there is a single pale white moon, hanging like a scythe in the sky.

The train rounds a corner as Ginny moves to stabilize the downed terrorists. From the speaking tubes the conductor’s voice echos.

“Final step metrol. final stop. All passengers must disembark. this train is heading to the yard.”

Outside the windows, the scenery has changed but the river the tracks run along is most certainly the Cyre River, and ends in the majesty of Lake Cyre. Ahead, at the edge of the lake, is a skyline that Araceli knows too well. Even at night, Metrol glows with witchlight, and the dull, bitter glow of forges.

A city that has not existed for two years.

The conductor soon joins them, looking over the strange group...and his eyes settling on Araceli and her Cyre colours. Clearly relieved to see a friendly face, he assumes they are supposed to be on the train and some information is quickly gathered. As best as he knows, they are Faithful of the Flame, here to perform terrorist acts. It’s been getting worse every day. These arrivals must be brave Cyre soldiers from the front lines.

The front lines of what, he doesn’t say.

The train, already slowing, begins to pull into a stop. The windows offer the first real look at Metrol, for those who care to see. The arrival platform is near the city's front gate, which is odd enough in itself until the reason why is seen - Metrol has been sealed from within, with a great wall of steel-banded stone that holds the gate shut. The city was once a picture of beauty. Here and there, that beauty remains in the form of bright war murals, depicting the aged but regal face of Queen Dannel ir'Wynarn and the words "For Queen and Country!"

Large sections of the city have been walled off with steel-banded stone, which glows with layers of abjurations that shed light into the populated districts. Soldiers patrol the streets, clad dark greys and blues to blend into the city around them; only their officers fly proud Cyran colors, and most of them have muddied their uniforms so as not to stand out. Even now, the city does not sleep, and its citizens move in huddled groups, heads bowed in focus or mourning. Too many wear black armbands, marking their grief for a lost loved one.

They are met at the platform by Sergeant Triss of the Metrol Watch. Like the conductor, she assumes the group, save Gwynne, are soldiers and Araceli the Officer. She recommends that Araceli change out of her brights before she gets picked off. She believes they have been serving on the Darkon front lines. No one recognises that country by name.

Gwynne is near on the edge of panic at this point, clinging to Ginny. "Picked off? ...Picked off by what?"

"Pick your poison, young lady," Triss answers sadly. "Gangers, renegades, Faithful. Undead. Plain old poor folk who know your coin's good for a meal."

She takes the Faithful off their hands and recommends them an inn. The owner is a patriot who’ll do right by soldiers back from the front lines.

Another new thing they see is that of towers of vertical agriculture. Fruits and vegetables being grown in tall towers. Gwyn guesses this is seige supplies and speaks about the Faithful they encountered. The holy symbols they were all carrying were that of the Silver Flame...but defiled. Painted a dusky red rather than its true colour. No one they’ve spoken to has used the word Silver to describe the faith yet either.

They soon reach the inn where the innkeeper, a maimed giant of a human missing an eye and a hand greets them warmly and quickly shuffles them off to one of the rooms in a surprisingly empty inn. Gwynne soon curls up in a bed with a stuffed bear from her pack while the others take chairs and slowly fall asleep.

Welcome to Ravenloft.

I gave my players a " small knife" that detected as extremely magical, and when held, the sense that "the knife can kill anything" comes to the wielder. I was going to have it be a joke item, standard 1d4 damage weapon... but my players are afraid of using it, and sort of in awe of it. As if it might be an artifact.

So, what should my slaying knife actually do? Any suggestions?

My bad. My experience with Storytime is Shadowrun storytime, so I assumed prose.

Okay, for a minute there I'd interpreted the "other campaigns" comment a bit differently and thus been confused.

This one is from, uh "Dynasty Races" by Augunas.

At least Blood of the Beast will have someone OTHER than Blackmon for art... right?

You really have to hand it to Augunas and Blackmon.

They reused art for the child and toddler kitsune in Dynastic Races.
>>
>>48191986
That's because of how it was written out, Gareth. Greentext works because it's simple, gets to the point, and is short. Longer stories work because they only really include the relevant, key bits, and they try to properly tell a story with it. Shadowrun Storytime is a good example of this. It worked really well.

Like, the campaign itself might be fine, but whoever wrote up the storytime needs to work on their shit.

>A character whose size suddenly changes becomes entangled if she is wearing any clothing, armor, or gear that doesn’t adjust to her new size. This condition lasts until all such items are removed from her person. Additionally, if she became larger than her clothing, armor, or gear’s intended size, every such item that she is wearing gains the broken condition. Magical clothing, armor, and gear gains a DC 10 Fortitude save to avoid breaking.

>If a character’s size is reduced or increased by two or more size categories, any clothing, armor, and gear that she was wearing fall to the ground in her space. If her size is reduced, objects she is holding also fall to the ground if her new size category is too small for her to be able to lift them. If her size is increased, any clothing, armor, or worn gear that she is wearing whose intended size is smaller than her new size category that she is wearing is immediately reduced to 0 hp and destroyed. Magical clothing, armor, and gear gains a DC 20 Fortitude save to instead gain the broken condition.

Jeez, this is really "fuck you," isn't it?

Hey /pfg/ I'm working on an archetype thing for a class that specializes in all manner of Flail group weapons, from whips to chains, and I've hit a bit of a snag

I'm currently trying to replace a 19th level ability with something else, and I need help on what the big end level "CUHRAZAY" ability should be. Any ideas?

They tried, which is good, and they didn't really do BAD exactly, but if they want some examples, here: https://i.yuki.la/tg/1457296432696.pdf

It's a FUCKING GREAT story on it's own, but it's also a good example of how to do this sorta thing well. You can also find it on sup/tg/, or via Google.

Person who wrote the recap here.

How could I have improved it? I was trying to cut out the chaff of the session and mostly focus on the important stuff rather than just characters chatting.

Though I did misinterpret what I was asked to do. I didn't think Storytime = Greentext and instead went to Shadowrun Storytime. Mostly because I didn't know how I'd really greentext atmospheric horror.

so /pfg/ i want to be stealthy and roguish but also use a bow and kill people from the shadows with incredible accuracy, but i want to augment that by also being able to use magic to support myself with invisibility and utility spells.

Which class should i be aiming for?
>>
What will it take to make Augunas /pfg/'s new waifu?
>>
>>48192223

Yeah, I've read Shadowrun storytime and was trying for something closer to it.

I think part of the issue is that there has been only one session so far and the prose format doesn't work so well with only one session. See the aforementioned screwup on what was meant by 'Doing storytime for it'.

A few sessions might have given me the material to actually work with/more stuff I could easily cut as chaff.

Thanks for being polite about it, I don't have much experience with this.

Slayer. Take the Minor and Major Magic talents for prestidigitation at will and Vanish 1/day per point of int bonus. If you need more magic, take the Voice of Monsters Trait, so you can cast a 3rd level bard spell and then you can prestige into Arcane Archer.
>>
>>48190190
>Penalties to one of the most easily boosted skills in the game make it unusable
Okay. But then again, you're not making a stealth check to hide so what penalties apply?
>>
>>48190289
Destined bloodline is hella good for a bloodrager. Makes for good fluff for the fight as well.
>>
>>48192418
You're making a stealth check, and the penalties aren't on YOU, they're on the DC YOU SET under the Perception rules.
>>
>>48192455
I'm looking at the perception DC table now. So possibly favourable conditions for a -2 penalty to the DC? 'Does literally nothing' makes me think some actual significant penalties.

If there's some massive penalty I'm missing, please fill me in, 'cause it's not on the table.
>>
>>48192499
You're in a fight.
That's battle.
Look at the top of the table.
>>
>>48192530
That's the example DC it normally takes to just hear a battle going on. Note how above the column containing that -10 it states 'perception DC' not 'perception DC modifiers'. The feat requires them to beat an opposed stealth check instead to notice it, modified by any appropriate modifiers on the 'perception modifiers' part of the table.

tl;dr the -10 isn't a modifier one takes whenever one is in a battle, it's the DC to hear a battle going on in the first place, which the feat overrides ("...to prevent them from noticing your action and subsequently identifying you as the assailant.")

How good is Craft Wondrous Item?
And do I need to be the CL of the item to craft it?
>>
>>48192628
I really don't understand this view. Its a collection of really great T3 classes. Does every veil have to become as strong as Haste to be worthwhile?
>>48192710
The CL you need is listed in the crafting prerequisites of the item. If no CL is listed, you don't need a specific CL.
>>
>>48192721
so if I don't meet it as a prerequisite it adds +5 to the DC, right?
and if I don't have the spell for the item that is another +5.
>>
>>48192721
>T3 classes
Lol?
>>
>>48192721
>I really don't understand this view. Its a collection of really great T3 classes. Does every veil have to become as strong as Haste to be worthwhile?

They should be all at roughly an even power level and the base veils should all be useful even without a slot to assign them as you won't have most of those slots for a long time.

Right now it suffers heavily from 'You need to know the exact right choices to make to be worthwhile'
>>
Are there any magic items that will make a skill monkey useful in combat? Not for attack rolls, but something to do.
I essentially do nothing besides utility (I took no offensive spells) and my PCs give me flak for it.
>>
>>48192721
>>48192753
Guru and vizier are low tier 3, daevic is high tier 4.

You basically need to jigsaw puzzle the fuck out of them to make them good though.
>>
>>48192753
Pathfinder is absolutely filled with trap options and i would consider Akashic Mysteries a fucking plus compared to base PF since at least its veils are situationally useful or become useful. If someone is playing Pathfinder today and honestly can't handle building a character in Akashic Mysteries i have no clue how they would build any other DSP class. I'd consider the skill floor for Dreads, Vitalists, The POW expanded classes and nearly all of the recent Paizo classes as much higher.

If you can play a Wizard and not pick acid arrow you are smart enough to play Akashic Mysteries.

That said veil buffs would not be a bad thing in a couple of cases.
>>
>>48191710
Bypasses all damage reduction. It can kill anything, but it might take a while.
>>
>>48192710
>How good is Craft Wondrous Item?

Depends on how easily you can acquire specific magic items, can you craft custom items, can you otherwise acquire custom items, how does your GM rule crafting feats interact with WBL and how much downtime you have. Generally it's pretty good, but if you can get any item you want from the nearest magic mart and can't craft custom items or if you just don't get enough downtime to do any significant crafting, it's not very valuable.
>>
>>48192172
It doesn't matter, real campaigns don't make it to level 19.
>>
>>48193012
I'm really not sure on most of that.
We are playing Rise of the Runelords and a convenient magic mart popped up that will sell anything.
We likely can't craft custom items either, and downtime has been minimal so far.
I figured Craft Wondrous Item would just essentially double my gold (I've saved up 5k at 5th level).
