It´s really dumb that "the A Strange Spot" from the Pinups of Death and the "White Story" from the Christmas Nico Settlement Event Cards don´t fit with the ones from the base game.
I hope they sorted that out with the Expansions Settlement Event Cards?

Oddly enough, my Strange Spot card is basically exactly the same size as the normal event cards. So perhaps they weren't cut uniformly?

So I'm running a solo campaign right now and I just got to the King's man.

I know more or less what he can do since I tried fighting him with a friend in a different campaign. we got completely demolished, though we expected no less with how that campaign was going.

So Here's a questing for you guys: How did you guys take on the King's Man? were you able to actually defeat him or did you just throw 4 unused survivors to the slaughter? if you fought, what strategies did you use? how well were you geared out?

I'm curious because i think i might have a fair shot of beating him, but I'm sure not everyone would survive that fight,

Are Saviors supposed to always be female?
I never saw anything refer to one as "he", always "she".
>>
>>46246058
It's a common style of phrasing also seen in RPG books.

The player character is frequently referred to as "she" there as well, even though both genders are possible. Not entirely sure as to why they do it, English isn't my native language, but it's not uncommon.

So nope, Saviours are not always supposed to be female.
>>
>>46246058
No
>>
>>46246058
Snow, the example character for Saviors, is female, so its usually what its referring to. In the actual books, I don't think they are ever given a gender, are they?
>>
>>46246127
As far as I can tell it's a convention that started with White Wolf books in the 90's, but I'm not certain.

Anyways, it's asking for a shitstorm that we really don't need. Your survivors can be male and female, and you want a good mix of them.
>>
>>46246403
Oh, Saviors, not survivors. I don't see why you couldn't have a male savior, but since the core game has a Savior mini who is female, I'm just going to be using that.
>>
okay what the fuck is this game about and why does it look so interesting?
>>
>>46246510
A bunch of people wake up suddenly on a field of stone faces, cold, frightened, near naked, and in the dark save for a couple of lanterns.

Suddenly a monster emerges from the darkness

Try and survive.

That may be a little glib, but that is the premise.
>>
>>46243685

1. Shields; you'll need at least one, preferably two.

2. Someone dedicated to grabbing King's Step SFA. It's an amazing fighting art, and if you can get it and keep it on a fairly whole survivor you've 'won' this fight.

2b. This person needs at least a dried acanthus to keep him/her alive in case of a low roll ect. A low roll on king's step will force a roll on the leg severe injury table. This person also requires a 3+ speed weapon so you can effectively burn the three hit locations. I prefer using katars paired up.

3. Minimise heavy gear on your survivors, but don't gimp them. Only a few HL have heavy keyword reactions, and likewise don't bring daggers to the exclusion of all else. If you have a good dagger and someone reliable to use it, that's a great boon, but a cat eye seer and a zanbato will see you through this fight dps wise as good as any other fight.

4. The Kingsman is not a fight of attrition. If you don't have all four survival actions you are likely to be fucked. You will be burning survival asap to dash, surge, and dodge. If the Kingsman isn't dead in four rounds, chances are you've already lost. He is brutal, and placement of survivors is incredibly important.

Acceptable plans imo:

Send out four newbies to die. Easy, simple, works for everyone.

Send out four newbies to try for king's step and then once they have it run away. This is how to metagame this fight. You need the innovation though to pull it off.

Send out your best, if you have the gear and the know-how, and give a good shot. You can still lose, so only do this if you're not metagaming and just out to have fun.

>>46246058
The only currently known gender-limited "class" in KD is White Speaker. And it's not that male White Speakers don't exist, it's that something happens to them. Something related to the Mountain Man (pic related). Presumably, they either turn into him, or he kills them.

expanding on >>46246550

In the game you (and presumably a group of friends) take control of a small settlement of humans as they try to survive in a nightmare world by going out and hunting and killing progressively more horrible monsters. The only supplies you really have are what you can cut from a monster's corpse, and you use these to strengthen your settlement and build new gear for your survivors to carry into battle.

The game is broken into 3 phases. A settlement phase where you do your crafting and deal with the settlement. A hunt phase where you lead a small team into the darkness to try and find a monster to kill.

The focus of the game is on the Showdown phase, where you fight one of the horrifying monsters. The PCs control survivors, and the monster is 'controlled' by two decks of cards describing its actions and where you hit it.

Because you draw from a subset of actions out of the total AI selection, each fight becomes individualized. I've had two fights with pic related. One fight he hacked us to bits with those cleavers, and the other time he ran around howling and driving everyone insane. Just depends on the cards you draw
>>
>>46246510
>>46246550
The game has three phases, all very interlinked and creating a cool narrative.
* Settlement phase - plays kinda like a civ game, you have limited resources, and need to choose how to spend them: science, gear, enlarging population, etc. Also includes random events and stuff, but most people don't like those.
* Hunt Phase - you must hunt down the monsters to have something to eat, otherwise your settlement starves. This plays somewhere between a choose-your-own-adventure and shoots and ladders. A lot of random in this phase, but it's very flavorful and gives lots of cool world lore by "show, don't tell".
* Showdown phase - The main "mode" of the game. Plays like Dark Souls meets Monster Hunter - you fight one giant boss monster, with 4 survivors (or fewer, if the Hunt Phase was especially deadly). Each monster plays very differently and requires a lot of tactical thought and preparation. This also uses a mechanic of "AI deck", making each instance of monster not only to be different, but also to change as you wound it and it desperately hangs on with the few remaining moves in its arsenal.

It's awesome. Best $400 you'll ever spend.
>>
>>46246720
Forgot to say, game is playable with 1-4 players, with a variant allowing another to be dedicated to playing as the monster, and another variant allowing up to two more survivors per hunt / showdown (though this mode is considered too hard by many, since the compensation for the monsters is big, and the rewards don't scale).
>>
>>46246720
Also very interesting (IMO, at least), is that the game sorta feels like an RPG since the characters have persistent changes (like skills, injuries, aging, retirement, etc.) - but the focus is actually on the survival of the settlement rather than roleplaying as the single character.
>>
File: kingdomdeathcore.jpg (170 KB, 750x421) Image search: [Google]
kingdomdeathcore.jpg
170 KB, 750x421
>>46246718
The AI deck also acts as a monster's HP. Every time you successfully wound it, you discard one of it's AI cards. The monster becomes less, and less coordinated as it gets hurt, becoming more and more predictable.

The second deck is a Hit Location deck, that is more flavorful, but also important. When you wound the monster you draw a hit location customized to the monster. So you can do things like stab its throat, smash it's jaw, cut off a limb, or even fall into a trap from the monster.

These two decks means no one has to be the "GM", as the game runs the monster side of the equation, and so enables everyone to be on the same team, or to be played solo.

Also it's purdy.

And before anyone asks, no there is no plans for a miniature-less version, and even if there was, the print costs mean that it would not be noticeably cheaper than the full version.
>>
Currently only the core game is available. There was a limited release of the expansions (the PDFs above), last week. Currently the company is focused mainly on getting the rewards out to the backers of their Kickstarter from a few years back.

However, the expansions should be showing up in the shop, a new one every month, starting... sometime soon. I don't know when.
>>
>>46246811
It feels very rpg. One of the latest expans called the Dragon King allows for a separate type of campaign to be run, one where the settlement takes a backseat to survivors. It feels tremendously like an RPG, with your settlement still being important, but taking a back seat to leveling up your people and forming a super squad. Another new expan called Sunstalker does something similar to the Dragon King, but mostly is just shaking the base rules up. It's not quite as character driven as the Dragon King's alt campaign and shares more with the base game.
>>
>>46246558
the person who you responded to here.

running away is not an option as I don't have that innovation. I've got no shields (thats next on my list of stuff t make) but I do have a whole set of leather armor and 2 sets of rawride. as for weapons and the survivors who wield them, i have a person who is a club specialist so their weapons gain paired and is using a whistling mace and a skullcap hammer, a person who is a sword specialist and is using a scrap sword and the butcher's cleaver (ambidextrous), another survivor who JUST got the twilight sword this current lantern year so she hasn't had time to make it great yet, and the 4th "best" has the red fist fighting art, and uses the cat gut bow. each survivor has dried acanthus and monster grease

you think I'm geared out enough or should I just send out the sacrificial lambs?
>>
>>46247508
Paired, unless it specifically states "pairs with X" (see Lion Knight claws), only allows you to pair weapons with the same name. You've been using paired as if it were Blood Paint.

Sifting through reviews. The way they describe the rng sounds maddening: having survivors with hours of progress wiped out by a single unmitigated dice roll? I appreciate hard games sure, how often does this sort of thing go down? Hours of prep made pointless by events you had no power to prepare against to begin with?
>>
>>46255074
You still get good drops for beating him once, and he seems to be the best way to get Iron.
>>
>>46256127
You are levelling a settlement not the survivors. Your gear almost always survives and losing gear is often more damaging that losing survivors
>>
>>46256127
The game is not about individual survivors. Kinda like the original DnD. The star of the game were the dungeons and players died left and right, sometimes to a single unfair die roll (looking at you, yellow mold).
>>
>>46256884

This.

With few exceptions, there is no survivor that you can lose that you cannot replace. And most of the times the RNG insta-kills a dude, you were more likely to get something sweet instead... you just rolled poorly that time.

On tables, at any rate. Sometimes you just draw the wrong card or event at the wrong time, and shit happens. Even so, it requires you to enter a death spiral to actually lose the game by running out of population. Otherwise, you just take a year to fuck like rabbits and get your population back up.

Questions about expansions:
How do the expansions interact with the core game?
Are they just other Quarries that you choose to fight or are they settlement events or something else?
Is there a recommended stage I should be at before I include them or do I add them in from the start? (Should I have progressed enough to be past the butcher, for example)

I haven't used the expansions yet but I have a few in boxes (Dung Beetle Knight, Dragon King, Gorm, and a few others).
>>
>>46266396
That all is explained on the first few pages of the rulebook of each expansions.
>>
>>46266396
They each have points where they'll insert into the campaign (each one tells you which LY that is), some are quarries, others are Nemesis monsters.

3 of the expansions offer alternative starting conditions, namely the Dragon King, Sunstalker and Flower Knight expansion.
The first 2 make huge changes to how your campaign will run and how your settlement will develop. The 3rd makes less changes to the base time-line, but includes a number of cool extra options.
>>
>>46266720
>>46266789
Thanks! I was a bit worried about things like alternative starts just in case because I've become rather attached to my current settlement.

I'll read up on the books then.
Which are your favourites?
>>
>>46267023

Personally, the Dragon King alternate start seems the coolest, as it completely changes your outlook on the settlement.
In the core game the good of the settlement goes before the good of the survivors, in a Dragon King campaign that is not the case. Basically it tasks you with creating as many epic badasses as humanly possible.

As for monsters inserted into the campaign, I imagine it'll be a tie between Spidicules and the Dragon King.
Both offer incredibly powerful items for crafting (literal nuclear weapons for the Dragon for instance) and some amazing Fighting Arts (and Secret Fighting Arts), though they're all pretty hard to get.

The Fight with Spidicules and the Dragon also have some really cool mechanics.
>>
>>46267023
I have none of the expansions, but the Lion Knight looked and read like a lot of fun.
>>

>>
>>46248442

>>
>>46256689
>iron hard to get
wut? maybe it's just rng magic, but we only ever need one pickaxe, and usually get plenty of iron from random ass shit.
>>
Anyone have the Spidicules model on the table right now and have a few hunts done with it?

Can survivors fit underneath it? It is a cluster on the table? I'm so bummed about the fact it looks cool, but probably is ungainly as fuck when actually using it. Bleh. The rules about its shadow also make it impossible to just edit the model some to give it a base. Really hoping things work out with spidicules. armor and items are too cool to pass up, but might have to find a better model to represent it on the tabletop... but oh yeah, stupid blind spot rules blehhhh. fuck you poots!!
>>
So how does character death work? I gather there's a settlement of survivors. Do you pull fresh characters from there to fill the party back up after a battle?

Sounds like they take a lot of physical and mental beating. Is there any sort of healing phase?
>>
>>46270185
Any non severe injuries are automatically healed, severe injuries can be healed through some endeavors or story events. As said earlier, gear is more important in core play, some expansions change that in alternate campaigns
>>
>>46270185
Light and Heavy injuries disappear at the end of the showdown.
Physical impairements are permanent (missing arms, broken ribs, etc.)

You pick the characters from your settlement when you go on a hunt (usually 4 survivors) and gear them up as necessary. You start with anywhere from 7 to 14 survivors (depending on initial rolls and how well your survived the prologue).
>>
>>46269698

Looks really awesome.

Maybe work a tiny bit on spacing and alignments, for example the settlement phases reference is almost touching the border.

Why do you have starting locations in all three settlement types?

People of the Sun can not have Protect the Young, maybe check it automatically?

What is happening with the boxes for total of organs, bones, etc? Why do they have the weird corners?

I love the page references on the settlement sheet why not also have them on the character sheets?

The weapon proficiency line is weird, man.
>>
>>46270185
you create a pool of nameless survivors at the start. You can make more with "intimacy" events and getting lucky with certain settlement events.

Non-severe Physical damage is completely healed once the Settlement Phase starts after a showdown.
Mental damage, disorders and severe injuries can be healed during the settlement phase with the right buildings, innovations and such.

Note that insanity is, in a way, mental armour, have zero is generally not a good thing.
>>
>>46270275
>>46270185
I forgot to add, mental disorders also stay. They are the equivalent of physical impairments.
>>
>>46270283
It's not mine, I just found it online but I figured the general may like it.

Yeah, I have no idea whats happening with the boxes for totals.

The dotted lines are for writing so I guess that explains the Weapon Proficiency line.

Everything else, I have no idea.

Printing out the resource and gear pages now. I like the born on bit and the impairment list is really nifty. The settlement page I am pretty ambivalent on. I like that the lantern years have all the expansions listed on them and when they come into play. The listed monsters and the #/level is handy if you like to/need to keep track of that. The little skull box next to the survivor names seems kinda frivolous. Something about the layout just doesn't sit right with me and I cant put my finger on why.

Not a fan of the light and heavy wound boxes placed on either side of the armor square. The placement works for the stats but seems rather cumbersome for wounds. Maybe place the light wound box over the heavy wound box and have the letters to the left of the boxes? Also needs to have the three options for courage/understanding. There is plenty of space to the left, maybve move courage more to the center and then understanding up to make room for 3 boxes dropping down from Bold/Insight. Granted, this can be covered by Abilities/Notes but I like knowing things at a glance.

So I checked my Spidicules sprues and I have duplicate legs, I am guessing right. Do I just email their support asking for a left leg sprue?

You run your settlement like a pride of lions/ hedonistic harem.
>mfw
>>
>>46270946
Would that not be pretty problematic if some bullshit Settlement Event and/or Story Event got rid of your few men by random?
>>
>>46271159
Events that kill a random survivor in the settlement are rare and you have more than one male as a safety measure in case you get them in a row.

>no shipping notification for expansions
I figured there would be delay, since the last time I ordered I waited almost 2 weeks for the thing to hit the mail. But damn if it isn't just as painful to wait. More so when some folks had gotten a shipping notice the day the sale ended, and others have already been getting their stuff as well.
>>
>>46269720
Well, just my impression. I haven't gotten too far into it yet, so maybe luck. I -did- once start a campaign with my brother where we had a ton of scrap and a few iron that we lost to the Butcher, so maybe.

All I know is you get 1 iron per level for Lion god, and a shit ton of basic resources as well.
>>
>>46271080
I think that's what they're doing.
You could also ask on here if anyone has an extra right leg.

Actually, does anyone have that picture of the sprues and what you *should* have?

4 Green
2 Blue
2 Red

Spare items should be Sleeping Virus Flower (+1L) and Lucky Charm (+1L).

Equip it on your Survivor who earned True Blade (+3L with swords) since you need that SFA to craft it. Helm gives +1L. That means you'll have a crit range of 3+ with it, if your survivor has no base +Luck. You're really going to want to put the Flower Knight Petal innovation to work for this survivor too; since your sword will double as a club you should try to get club and sword mastery on him for the ultimate pound train. Paired might be wasted, but fuck it.

Activate full set to roll a base of 3 attacks, hitting on 4+// 4 attacks hitting on 3+ for a sword master, which, c'mon, you better be a sword master.

These four/three base attacks have a base 15S, plus your dice roll, +2 from your gauntlets, +1 from sword master, +1d10 from sharp. With deadly2 from the set and Savage, any crit you land will net you 4 wounds, and your chance to not crit is the same as missing. If you roll a 2 to wound you'll average 25S, enough to wound most anything, and that's not counting what your base survivor should have as base stats.

That's all just offense too. Average rolls gives you a fair chance of killing most enemies sub level three in one attack.

Ofc... you get the set, if all goes well and perfect, LY22. So yeah.

Yes, it's an enjoyable RPG-like boardgame to play.

>>
>>46275504
...The game does favor females. There are a few events that require selecting a female for positive bonuses or only have negative effects for males. But the biggest reason is actually the one you stated: as only females can die during intimacy (after Protect The Young), you want more females than men as your settlement population.

Having only a few men permanently on the settlement while the rest are female simplifies the matter of trying to juggle the ratio. A bonus if any of the males from your initial survivor batch and made it to weapon proficiency 6 or mastery (which is worth trying to push for if they got pretty high by the time of Armored Strangers) before retiring, as then you can breed your survivors with a specialization or close to a useful mastery by default.

>>
>>46288209
The more I think about this the more it makes sense. Injection molding is cheap once you get going, and you can sell a lot of plastic for a decent price if most tabletop starter sets are anything to go by. The only reason for KD:M to hit $400 is because the game comes with hundreds of unique cards.

The game will never be sold w/o the miniatures because no-one will ever buy a $250-$300 box with nothing but shit-loads of cards. Though I'm pretty sure you guys have had this discussion already.

I think it's interesting that the only expansions that directly say they should replace other monsters are the Spidicules and the Slenderman. I would have thought Manhunter would be a good replacement for Butcher, Lion Knight for King's Man, dragon for phoenix, etc. Guess you could still do that at the player's option, but it just seems interesting to me that those specific two monsters are replacements.

There are 8 hit locations that represent Spidicules legs. When you wound them, it gives her lowered movement speed, and you set the card aside.

If you wound all 8 legs, you trigger the story event that can give you Limbless Ball.
>>
>>46292846
Seems pretty rough for a Antelope replacement.
You lose a survivor no matter what with this Trapped Event it seems?
>>
>>46294193
They can be rescued, in fact, that rescue is required to get Silk Surgeon.

So basically after fighting Spidicules, you want to fight it a second time within 4 years or you'll lose the survivor and maybe more. If you botch the rescue, you have to do it again but the timer resets. If you fight another while nobody's taken, it starts again.

Probably Slendy. Don't see the Tyrant taking well to a Manhunter.
>>
>>46297201
Taking well lorewise or gameplay wise? Because lorewise it makes sense; the settlement wasn't strong enough to beat some asshole, they lose a weakling because of it.
>>
I wonder how well a weekly campaign would go on tg. Give us a settlement, name us some Survivors, and help push the direction things go in.

I mean, play by post would be slow and clumsy, but general tactics for the fights would be doable.

Might be fun.
>>
>>46297422
Lorewise, mainly. Kind of imagining an "Oh no you don't! I'm using those!" response.
>>
>>46297201
I guess my only issue with Slenderman is the Blotted Out fighting art. Is it just a detriment where you not only take your normal brain trauma rolls, but also a bleeding token for your trouble as well? Or am I completely misunderstanding it, and you get the bleeding token in place of the trauma roll?

>>46299661
Except, when you think about it, it doesn't apply here. The Tyrant is all about the People of the Stars who are, bar some, all super-powered badasses. If they can't defend themselves from one rando asshole with a loud lamp, then what right do they have to the title of People of the Stars?

>>
>>46302605
You will want a hobby blade alongside your sprue cutters. Some fine files would also not be amiss.

To answer your direct question, I've been using Gorilla glue I got at the hardware store. That works fine. I pour a little in a bottle cap and use a toothpick as an applicator.

Pro tip! If you do this and go to pick your teeth, do NOT use the gluey toothpick! Your dentist will not approve.
>>
>>46302699
Seconding this but Specifically Gorilla brand SUPER glue (blue cap).
They have other glues which foam a little bit.
>>
Does anybody still have the pics of gear/fighting arts/other cards that came with xpacs? The rulebooks get reposted here often but I wanted to look at some Sunstalker and Slendy gear.
>>
>>46302605
A fine file or fine sandpaper will do you wonders. Adhesive-wise I like plastic cement, but it doesn't bond to anything but plastic, so you can't use it as well for models you want to paint in pieces and then glue. The hold is great though, since it melts the plastic together - super glue can still be twisted apart/softened later - but means "be really sure about where you're putting a piece, because there's no takesie-backsies".
>>
>>46299848
Blotted out doesn't seem to replace a trauma roll, and I agree with you that it's a really annoying result to get as a random fighting art.

However, using it against Slendy gets you some pretty decent advantages, as many of his HLs are 'you glimpse something indescribable' with a reaction, and Blotted Out gets bonuses to strength or luck and I think there's one that lets you ignore the reaction.

It's still parasitic, and downright NEGATIVE, but you also have to realize that there's only like three monsters that try to kill you with bleeding tokens, and IIRC only the Butcher also happens to throw out brain damage occasionally.

Superglue brand superglue gel.

It works fantastically on both KDM plastics and KD resins. It's inexpensive and rather strong, and gel means it doesn't fucking get everywhere if you so much as squeeze slightly too hard. Easier to repair mistakes.

Also while thin layers turn into fog, it removes rather easily with gentle rubbing without cracking the main bond it seeped from.

>do managed to complete griswaldo and ferasaurs though. Not as good ZANBATO of course but still pretty stronk.
>Dragon King final fight was disappointing. Barely more powerful than a lvl 3 Dragon normally it died with only having done a single AI card.

Why is Rawhide the best armor for the entire game? Lack of armor points can be made up by stacking shields, items or other special abilities. Rawhide armor set benefit can't be replicated very easily. Later on in the game, actual armor point scale very poorly (Do you have enough armor to not get severe injury after 1 hit? Yes? You're good.) while survival actions scale extremely well. Dash allows you to just ignore a large number of monster actions if you are smart about watching monster flow.

Having nothing to replace Rawhide Helm is a very big deal as well. Being able to look at top 2 and put then back means that you will always take the better AI card for you. This also means that as you wound the monster, you remove AI cards that are worse while making sure only the good AI cards are still remaining to be shuffled back in the deck at the end. That is so powerful.
>>
>>46307652
Nope, but you'd still auto-wound without a HL 1/5 times.
>>
>>46306513

You can get up to two for winning if you till very well, plus any you get from drowning. In addition, you need to get light crafting up to level 3 (takes 4 dark water), craft a gloom mehndi (1 dark waster), mine somewhere after the darkness during a hunt event with the character you put the mehndi on and hope you roll well enough to get crystal skin (gives you the crystal sword mold), and then you can craft them (2 dark water each). So a minimum of 9 dark water, plus other materials. Very unlikely.

My main problem is that there's only two katana in the whole game, and they're both pretty late game items considering how early you can potentially get the mastery in a Sunstalker campaign.
>>
>>46307830
I guess putting Slenderman into a People of the Suns campaign is also very risky.

Not being glorious mustard race.
Not accepting that PC version never.
If DS3 doesn't flop like DS2 did, I might actually get the damn Chinese gaming box just for the Souls games.

I think Phoenix armor with bird bread and a shield is the best armor available. We have a girl with those and Twilight Sword, she is literally perfect. Other than that though, Rawhide is broken OP plz nerf
>>
Is there anything I don´t get about the Rawhide Set?
Why does everyone say it is OP? It only gives you that AI deck manipulation (which IS pretty good), some evasion, departing survival and the 4/10 chance of getting a survival spent on a survival action back?

so, I have a few questions.
for those of us who aren't in the know, can we get a game synopsys?
like, what or the most basic things this game has to offer?
what are the corest mechanics?
do the models come pre-painted or is it up to the ham-fisted clutzes out there to fuck up the paint-jobs?

and as a suggestion, perhaps put the answers to these questions in the OP for the next and subsequent threads

>>46308044
I'd say go for a PS4 so you get bloodborne also, it's a pretty fantastic game.
>>

Basic combat almost resembles D&D. But there are so many tables and flavorful descriptions that it does most of the job of helping you visualize combat, progression, and insane action/horror/whimsy that it makes up for it in spades.
>>
>>46308624
Not to be snippy, but that question has been answered twice in the thread already.

As for prepainted, no. The figures come post-painted and post-assembled.

Also, the minis are not painted, but look amazing even if you just glue them an leave gray (that's how they ran the demo at GenCon)

Should probably compile for a pasta to add to the next bread ALL THOSE CARBS

The kingdom death website answers most of those questions and shows the sprues/miniatures.

That link should probably be in the next OP.
>>
>>46308854
>but that question has been answered twice in the thread already.
I've only seen it asked once, I'm here asking because when I Ctrl+f and look for the keywords I'd expect like "synopsis, what is, or summary" I get no results and while the question was asked at least once "what is kingdom death" the answer was vague enough to be unhelpful

>>46308850
so it's a board game with an RPG like rule-set?

my thoughts exactly...
also, thanks for linking posts.

Putting stuff in OP is an excellent idea.

6+ on a d10 is 5/10, or 50%, m8.

Which is exceptional. It gives you an effectively much larger survival pool, with dashing and dodging a ton more than making up for the survivability gained by higher armor values. Also more surges. Also, when you get something that lets you dodge twice or what have you, it grows in value.

The headband is great too and is really the only way to not get fucked over by lategame monsters, though you don't need the full set for that.

What do you think I could get on eBay for my armor sprues from the main game?

Not sure if I should sell them separately or one big lot.
>>
>>46309475
Sell them individually. You can get more money that way. People really do want them, so they will sell unless you put an absolutely stupid mark up on them.

>6+ on a d10 is 5/10, or 50%, m8.
Oh right, got my math wrong there.

Mh okay, I just did not think that this really early game set could still be useful in late game. I guess I should inovate those Survival Actions asap then.

Why wasn't the viking engineer occupied with building a ram?
I mean, what's his yarl paying him for?
>>
>>46270946
Isn't that, strictly speaking, favoring the male side?
>>
>>46313652
Clearly he has a surplus of rams ATM.
>>
>>46313747
How?
His system? It's making up for an obvious mechanical bias. He's "favoring" the males -actually not favoring them since he's not using them- so they don't go out and encounter the mechanics that have an extra 20% chance to kill them.
