Which of those worlds is most trans friendly?

Does "rigid traditional gender roles, general attitude of homophobia" mean I'd have to act like a man or would I get the female treatment?

Would divine healing turn me into a girl or would I get turned cis?

Ward : Princess Alys of Delvaria
Righteous Princess ftw.

Personal Powers:

Superhuman Intellect x3 Plots within plots. Traps within traps.
Aura of Attraction It makes people trust me and eager to impress me? Almost too easy.

Intrigue Powers:

Operational Leewayx2
Visions of the Presentx2
Power of the Mindx2
Seductive Formx2 Honey trapping all night long.

Leadership Powers:
Religious Education

Companions:
Earl Jorn Blackbay to win us the numerous wars to come
Mikhail Jansen for magical protection
Sandra Tenneman (bodyguard and Alys'bff)
Alana Hesberg for SCIENCE and mithril cannons

Drawbacks:
Forbidden Love with Dalin, my King with benefits
A Threat to the Gods

I'm so supernaturally good at being a spymaster it's not even funny. Good Gods. Oh and I wonder if King Dalin could set up his own Delvarian Church, Henry VIII style. With my enduring lifeforce and resurrection stones, I might be able to make him into an immortal God-Emperor... Surprise! this CYOA is now W40k.

They would definitely treat you like a man.

Divine healing I assume is also what they use to turn gays straight. So I assume they would also view being trans as a perversion that needs fixing. "Healing" you by making you cis.

Technocracy, Worker's Republic, or Eco-Commune are probably your best bets. Land of Liberty seems like it would basically be about the same as it is now in terms of general acceptance, maybe a bit better.

Capable of dramatically influencing sensations with a touch, directing the victim's brain to construct vast illusions at her guidance; even time dilation is possible. Man, is it weird that I don't want to live in any of these "utopias"? Our world might be shitty but at least it has the potential to one day be just. All of these options have built-in injustice and strife. Eco-commune seems nice until the planet gets hit by an asteroid.

Also, if a life size statue of whoever Jorge is counts as a toy, does that mean other similarly sized "statues" count? Like, as an example, a wax statue of Gackt or a Realdoll based on Rei?

You just make your choices, writing them as you go along. Then you write some fluff to explain your intent, and the story you told yourself using the CYOA as a springboard. It's basically an exercise in imagination, or a really lonely autistic rpg.

This isn't an opinion. The data doesn't just go back a few years, it goes back more than a fucking century, and it's all publically available. There are a ton of people a whole lot smarter than your stupid ass willing to explain it to you in third grade terms -- and have, hundreds of times. The overall thermal energy of the Earth is rising. This is causing massive chaos in storms, major shifts in the climates of biomes across the globe, currents to redirect, seasons to become more irregular. And it's going to kill off our fucking species. This isn't a little thing. It is literally, factually, exactly the only god damn thing that matters to our survival.

Not really on this scale, and certainly not with that speed. I mean in business as usual scenario, we're looking at a 6°Celsius increase in mean temperature in less than 150 years. That's fucking insane. The last Ice Age was only 2°Celsius under our mean temperature.

Look up positive feedback loops and runaway effects. There's a very real chance we're done for, us, along with the rest of the mega fauna, and most of the fucking biosphere.

That's not what Martin Rees, the astrophysicist and member of The Centre for Study of Existential Risk says. But he does say that climate change can wipe us out, sooner than people think.

I agree with you but the natural solution is the implementation of a more expanded definition system seams like a waste of time considering how long it would take to implant in the biological community. The anon I was replying to said

And implied that climate change is in the same class of problems we can't do anything about, and that basically
>calm your tits and enjoy your life
I should ignore it and not try to talk about it or take action.

My reply was: No actually. This expert on the subject says that the asteroid scenario is much less likely than the extreme climate change one to present an existential risk. This backs up my argument that one is right to worry about it.

That's not an appeal to authority. Directing someone to an authority in a particular field is not the same as saying "I'm right because I went to Harvard."

If you want to argue something, argue it. Don't go "b-but this guy said so ;_;". I don't give a flying fuck what someone else said. I have no time to look up who he is, why he matters, and the probably 27 people who disagree with him and are equally "experts" on these subject.

So...she's like a humanoid bug that'll bite your head off during sex, then pump your corpse full of her "babies"...

The shard/general perks you had where cool. Maybe also keep the hero/rogue/villain thing you had going on?

If you want companions/weird extras there are a shitton of fan crossovers whith worm

Are you a Kim Stanley Robinson fan, by any chance? I remember hearing from someone that his Forty Signs of Rain books were pretty good, they're all about global warming and I think one even includes a scientist going primitivist when he realizes there's nothing that can be done.

Haven't read 'em myself, but Red Mars and The Years of Rice and Salt were pretty damn good.

You are such a retard. "Toxic" is a fact, not an opinion. Humans get sick in the environment that's being created. Hong Kong, motherfucker. Your answer to the 200 year criticism isn't even an answer. I hope you're being watched after by the state, and kept away from power tools and election booths.

She'll also zombify me ala wasps.

Thanks for commenting. The companions thing is mostly to give this thing a bit of a group effort aspect. And yeah, there's quite a few Worm fanfics out there. Some are surprisingly good.

Humans got sick in the previous enviroment even more. So fucking what.

Your greed will be your downfall! Give us something man! Give us anything, dammit!

Also, I can't believe you let us have stands but not an overly convoluted time power that's impossible for the opposition to fully comprehend. Denying us mutant waifus who exist in deformed misery? Taunting us with Stands but no way to make King Crimson? It's like you're trying to make a serious quality cyoa instead of joke bait here, you bastard.

Seriously though, I have really liked what you've done. Keep up the good work.

I meant alternate options for how Taylor triggers, in the vein of Tinker Taylor Soldier Spy from 0.1a, but that works too.

Also, a low-power Case 53 CYOA sounds like a great idea.

Is Tinker Taylor from some fanfic or something?

Anybody got the Power Armour CYOA pdf? I feel like making a build

I thought it was an award winning British Television series about the cold war but I could be wrong.

Right so I'm just "projecting" when he said that he doesn't care if we're extinct in two generations as long as he gets his computer. Vomit up some more buzzwords, why don't you?

>>46083017
Extinct species don't preserve anything. And abandoning comforts doesn't mean a loss in the principles of them. It's about retooling expectations.

>>46083055
That's a platitude, not an argument. Retrovirus gene modding isn't ever going to be cheap, and it certainly is not precise. "tools" isn't a god you worship for miracles, and not everything you enjoy is a tool that makes things more efficient for survival, of either you or the species as a whole. Some things are only efficient for serving up your exploitation by cultural conditions.

>>46083405
Nah bruh, they didn't. Cancer was a lot more rare for most of human existence. Diabetes, schizophrenia, asocial psychopathy, treatment-resistant plagues were a lot more rare. Yeah, you could die from the cold. But you also didn't die from throat lesions due to smog exposure. This isn't an either-or. We can have flu vaccines AND not choke on smoke. You're not being a technophile, you're being a fucking luddite. Coal and slavery is what exists now so it's all that ever can exist again, and let the future rot away, right? Fuck yourself, trying to take some high ground when you're just an anti-intellectual cynic.

>>46083164
Can you use overclock on yourself?

You didn't provide an answer. You dodged the question and spat out a feel-food platitude at the cherry-picked phrase from the question. Even you know you're full of shit at this point.

There is such a fanfic, but it's a reference to a TV show. It's on that forum regarding battles in space, if you know what I mean.

I have it but my internet is being a piece of shit right now, so I can't upload it. Afraid I have to direct you to one of the dropboxes in the pastebin.

You know, considering there's been at least four Worm cyoas and the alliteration, I'm really surprised there hasn't been an actual Worm Waifu CYOA. I mean, you've got Skitter, Tattletale, Miss Militia, Dragon, Alexandria, Faultline, Contessa, all sorts of Slaughterhouse Nine members, Slaughterhouse Nine-thousand members, Echidna, Echidna clones of the aforementioned potential waifus, best girl Simurgh, the thinker entity, and possibly the third entity. A lot to pick from.

Most of them are insane and unlikeable.

>you can live WITHOUT all the modern comforts of today!

Also, some unique ideas for precog powers:
>Can only detect trigger events; gives a probability spread for certain areas, types of power, and times of triggering over the next year (several if pushed)
>Has a vague sense of how much a given action would affect precogs' plans (deviation given by shard, shards distinguishable); precog shards ignore this power on calculations
>Can see your own (mutable) actions and state - not anything else- for the next few minutes. Doesn't include recursive activations.
>>Other Manton-limited precognitives - only seeing objects.
>Hypothetical precognition: running simulations, from "What if the Simurg attacked now" to "How would that hot babe react to being violated by tentacles" to "What would Panacea look like unmasked". Only one simulation at a time; larger changes reduce accuracy as probabilities are generalized to most likely unless otherwise specified.

I really like that one. I was considering the idea of a "you've read worm"-themed precog power for a non-cyoa project, where it would basically let you continuously read an updated version of the book for the changes you've made. This makes me think of a version of that but for fanfiction scenarios.

>not Simurgh
>not the REAL hero of the story who ACTUALLY orchestrated the saving of the world unlike someone who just mind controlled a bunch of people and then took credit for the kill when someone not under her thrall figured out how to show Scion pictures of his dead girlfriend

It's really sad that you thought this was a clever enough reply to type up, when you clearly have the reading comprehension of an above-average turtle.
