I've got a thing where you can start out by picking a Psi Parasite from a list. Starting out with no Psi Parasite is also an option.
When you defeat an enemy, you have the option to switch out your current Psi Parasite from one on their list.
So far, for the starter pack, I only have 'none' and 'PP Librarian'.
'PP Librarian' gives the support skill PSI Shush. For three turns, as long as you're within Melee range, your opponent can't use PSI, and you get +1 to Melee rolls.

I'm 30 years old and I've never lived in one place for more than 4 years. Finding the perfect spot to settle down is my idea of heaven.

There's no need to add more grimdarkness to a story that's already got just the right amount.
