Eating meat will be a crime in the near future, in most western countries. Or it will at least be taxed so heavily that most people will not afford to be able to eat it. You will be considered barbaric if you do, in either case. If not only because of the animals themselves, but because of murky reasoning about the climate and so on. The only acceptible animals to eat will be insects, as they do in large parts of Asia.
A couple of years ago, I would've considered this a ludicrous statement. But the way things are going, do you not see this as not only possible, but in fact probable?

The Indians I've dealt with in America are almost always very nice and polite people. The ones in call centers are a pain in the ass because they're hard to understand, but that's not really their fault. American companies offer them jobs that are cheap for them to pay for but the pay looks great to the poo-in-loos so of course they don't turn them down. I'm not mad at them.
