Share thread, shuffle edition. Old one near bump limit. Shuffle your library and post a link to whatever you find, samples and album art included, no requests allowed, everyone is encouraged to participate. No bullshit, just shares, everyone in. If it's on the archive already, feel free to repost it, who cares.
This is an experiment to see if we can develop a new strain of cancer-free share thread. The more unusual and out-of-the-ordinairy, the better, let's get some new material out there, discover something. I will be posting some stuff shortly.

Mark Fell/Evol - Head Office Transformation
>mark fell's side - "I was watching my daughter play on Guitar Hero with headphones, all I could hear was the clicking of the buttons as she played. She, on the other hand, was have a very different experience. I made a recording of the sound of the button pushing which lasted about 30 minutes. Following this I implemented a simple system to analyze the sound file and give me a list of all the timings of the button pushes. This was then used to trigger a simple kick drum sound and lush chord generated using 4 operator FM synthesis. For me the music made outside the headphones, the skeleton of the guitar hero performance was far more interesting that the illusion of skill and performance it offered to the player. A more interesting head space transformation."

The Spinanes – Manos (1993)
>Alternative rock. Rock duo, girl at the mic, crystal clear sound, plumping drums, A-grade guitar noise and lovely acoustic cuts
> “Featuring multitracked guitars and vocals, it could have been the work of a bigger group. Sonically, though, it was all about the jam econo. Gates' spindly guitar lines, just on the cusp of overload, bristle like a field of thistles, honeyed and forbidding; Plouf's drumming seems to explode out of a small, confined space. Here as on later albums, Gates' voice-- close harmonized in a virtual duet with herself—takes center stage, tying up bittersweet in shiny ribbons that simply beg to be undone.”

Rita Lee - Build Up (1970)
>MPB, chamber jazz pop. The mutant girl dips her feet on chanson, jazz, tango and more
>"Lee veers away from the raucous -- and the folksy -- feel of the early Mutantes albums, and aims instead for an album which showcases her as a non-rock vocalist, in a variety of styles. Stylistically, this is all over the map, starting off with a brisk romp into showtune territory ("Sucesso, Aqui Vou Eu"), then moves into demi-cowboy pop, a Euro-mod take on Georges Moustaki's "Joseph,". The best track on here is "Hulla-Hulla," a brilliant tropicalia melange of calypso, rock and Hawaiian music, co-written with Elcio Decario."

>Psychedelic rock, baroque tropicalia. From dreamy tv idol to dreamy tropicalian, ft. horns & strings

Patricio Rey y Sus Redonditos de Ricota - Gulp! (1985)
>Post-punk, New wave. Reeks of alcohol, poorly lighten streets and east-europe.
>Before the myth, the Redondos had already built themselves a reputation on the underground rock scene. Playing all weekend long on murky bars and cheap theaters. The non stop lifestyle, the incapacibility to settle down for a second and think might be the explanation for the downstraight happy, jovial even, overall sound of the record. You get Skay's superb guitar playing, a fantastic soloer and riff machine, Solari's eerie vocal delivery, the versatile sax (often playful, occasionally grandiloquent). And some sparse synth work by Daniel Melero.

Kicking Giant – Alien I.D. (1995)
>Indie rock/pop, power pop, post-hardcore, what.
>"The duo of singer/guitarist Tae Won Yu and singer/stand-up drummer Rachel Carns treated punk rock as an ideology, as a shelter, as spray-paint, as rocket fuel, as an excuse to call whatever came out of their collaboration a song as long as it had a big enough riff. Their final album together (after a series of cassettes) is an inspired D.I.Y. mess, incorporating performance poetry, bristling one-chord noise pieces, and most of all mammoth garage-rockers — mostly about the desperate struggle for identity — that sound like they're being improvised on the spot."

>>60747200
Man that's the sad thing, this WAS the standard back in the day. Well, no rules about shuffling, but always people trying to post something others haven't heard yet. No requests, few discography dumps. It ended when MediaFire started cracking down on copyright infringement and we were left without a good file host until mega, when sharethreads came back and brought all this cancer with them.
>impossible to listen to without autism
I don't understand what's wrong with asking for an album that you can't find. There's maybe one album in this thread I would download. I use my computer for shit other than listening to music. Space is valuable.
And post a fucking sample. Youtube link; something. I'm not downloading just because you say Snardly Buffet is the best band ever from Tristan Dan Cunha.
>>60754040
The problem is that people use it as an excuse to shitpost and start asking for incredibly easy to find/basic shit. Almost no one is asking for deep cuts or rare/hard to find things.

So you're saying people shouldn't be allowed to request simple stuff. Yet shuffle-sharing is essentially shuffling the archive, links that most serious lurkers have already dug through. I say request away.
>>60755529
do you want a request thread? start a share and request thread
>>60755817
I want consistent shares with requests; something a request thread can't guarantee.
It would work fine as long as people didn't engage in lengthy conversations over similar interests.
>>60755895
start a new share and request thread. do you have enough uploaded music to make a share thread?
if you dont, dont come here demanding things. this thread have this rules, deal with it. you are free to make another one
>>60755895
every time i've been in a share/request thread it's always been bogged down by cunts who can't use the archive/slsk
like, literally every 5 posts or so is some guy trying to find a link to loveless or /mu/core, or it's some other guy posting links to already existing /mu/core
share/requests should be their own separate threads desu
