8/5 - OGMD's SEA region release date
Has there ever been a plump OG girl pilot?
>Female teacher who is not human
>Teenager who has a sickness/curse which will be trigerred from a family's death
Is Z3 OG based on this ?
Since we're starting with shitposting, I'll join in
Melua is objectively the best Puff, if you think otherwise, you're probably a gay
>gets the worst J mech
>has the worst animations of the game
>revengeboner is severely neutered
>unimportant to the main plot
>all powerpuffs never want anything to do with her and have no development with her
>Al-Van probably cares more about Tou-ya and Sanger than her
MD Calvina is suffering!
At least she got the better song. Calvina is pretty much the OG1 Kyosuke of MD, edgy side character with cool song and best sidekick. Maybe she'll pull a Kyosuke and be more relevant next game.
>and the loss of political leaders would lead to the same thing: an invasion of Earth
The point was never to stop the invasion. The point was to strengthen Earth so it could better resist said invasion. Not killing the politicians hushing everything up because you're worried the aliens will attack you for such an action is pants on head retarded.
Most of the rest of your post unsurprisingly makes little sense, tripfag. You can totally go public with stories about aliens. You have fucking physical evidence in the form of destroyed bug mechs, data from meteor3, combat logs from fighting said bug mechs, documents from the governments aborted attempts at surrendering in antarctica, etc. There's also the superadvanced mechs that blow everything else out of the water, which are built from reverse engineering alien tech.
The worries of a (oh no!) starting a civil war are kind of laughable. What exactly do you think the divine war was?
The aliens threatening cities is a scenario you have to deal with regardless of who is in charge, and just starting a war that destroys a significant part of the military which could presumably stop such an attack does not, in fact, make capitulation LESS likely.
The thing Bian could've done is stage a coup instead of a ludicrously wasteful flower war. He could've even called for emergency elections after executing everyone getting in the way if he really didn't want to do the military dictator thing.
But the problem wasn't the politicians keeping a secret, the problem was that they wanted to surrender Earth to the aliens without a fight, only guaranteeing their own lives. Killing them was the only option. Even if Bian revealed the aliens to the mass, politicians could still do their thing, feign ignorance etc. Everything Bian, Shu, Sanger, Maier and Elzam did was necessary, but everything his subordinates did was war crime.
DC War was basically the first arc of Kill la Kill.
XO has the best original desgins
I am surprised there's hardly any porn
They could at least implement the terrain destruction.
I mean we are throwing some heavy ordinance around and have heavy machines beat each other to scrap, while the trees and flowers around remain intact.
I'm sure we can do more collateral damage than a few magical girls at least.
>there will never be another Sahib general.
How is Alpha 2? I'm just about to skip 1 and Gaiden because I just don't enjoy their winkysoft mechanics
It received a lot of attentions thanks to Gundam Builder Try
Makes sense, OG is their second chance so they can rewrite stuff to not be shitty, it seems pretty apparent with J's stuff in MD (Shana-Mia, the stuff with Touya's dad).
Gaiden really dropped the ball with R though.
>eeey let's reward people for activelly funelling everything to just one unit
>and also let's fucking break attack combo so no one ever uses the partner system when they could be killing 6 enemies in one go
>also let's give our MAIN CHARACTER a fucking lambda driver
K was a thing that happened
Kind of Slowpoke Char here, but now that this is slated for an English translation
probably at the same time as Muramasa, hopefully someone will actually play it and know what its plot is about so that they can put it in their fangame or something.
>And because of that you became completely anon?
Fixed it for you
The aliens wouldn't attack for killing the politicians, if you attacked the envoys at the treaty, you run the risk of the aliens coming at you for revenge, ala nuke the peace treaty.
All the evidence about aliens you can muster can be handwaved, especially by the government that has a vested interest in keeping things quiet. Everything would be under lock and key, and any attempt to bring things to light can be laughed at, called a hoax, or debunked. Even showing off a Huckebein and saying you built it based on things you found in a rock can't be proven.
Bian didn't want a civil war, he wanted to blitz the army and take control quickly.
The aliens threatening cities is a situation in which Bian waited until the aliens make their appearance, which honestly might not even happen. But if they did just show up, and Earth decided to fight back, all you have to do is threaten to nuke a city and most people will just capitulate.
>stage a coup
So creating the DC?
>executing everyone getting in the way
If you are going to go that route, you might as well go full DC then, the result is the same.
>if you attacked the envoys at the treaty, you run the risk of the aliens coming at you for revenge
So they would do the thing you expected them to do in the first place.
What the fuck are you even gibbering about? The discussion before was about how Bian and Maier used their giant secret army badly.
Which only the people who knew about the aliens would expect them to. Which means Bian would then have to go use the DC like he normally would, which everyone admits was a bad thing. Unless admitting to the world that he killed a bunch of world leaders because of a secret treaty with aliens lands him control of the world.
>Bian would then have to go use the DC like he normally would
No it doesn't. Jesus, that doesn't at all follow.
1.Bian knows an invasion is coming.
2.The government is suppressing this information in an effort to get away with surrender and hopefully saving their own skin
3.Bian and Maier build a giant secret army
Shu blowing up the antarctic treaty was not a bad thing.
The DC focusing on fighting the military that had no idea what was going on WAS a bad thing. They had huge technological superiority, space supremacy and total surprise. They probably also had a list of who in the government was trying to benefit from surrender. They could've focused on killing those people, then taking the reigns of government long enough to guarantee Earth was alerted to the threat and started preparing to deal with it.
That course of action is radically different than what Bian chose to go with.
You can pretend it has a NG+ and add 2mil bucks via cheat engine? We won't judge you. I mean Mattman plays SRW games with unlimited money all the time and nobody hates him for that.
If just killing the politicians would solve the problem, you don't NEED to have a giant secret army. Just send Shu at everybody. Problem solved.
But the idea that someone can just kill a bunch of world leaders, and waltz into power by claiming aliens were involved with a secret treaty with said world leaders and have everyone go along with that with no problems is crazy. You would still have the DC War be a thing, just Bian would be in charge and the military would be fighting to overthrow the crazy guy who keeps talking about aliens.
That's what stopped me from playing Kyosuke's route for five years. But then again, NG+ in OGs now took out all the fun out of the game for me. I never expected to be this bored with overpowered units that take 10 damage from grunts if they even are unlucky to get hit and two shot most bosses with Valor. From now on I'll probably waste all the NG+ cash on making shit units viable rather than making good units broken.
Who's talking about killing the entire military?
People are saying that all Bian has to do is
1. Kill all the politicians involved in the secret treaty
2. Reveal secret treaty as an excuse as to why said politicans are dead
3. Coast into world leadership position completely unopposed by surviving politicians
I suppose he could just not admit to killing the traitors, but then Bian isn't guaranteed that people will listen to him about the alien invasion.
>2. Reveal secret treaty as an excuse as to why said politicans are dead
"The traitors attempting to sell out our entire world have been tried and executed for their crimes. Due to the sheer number of high governmental positions implicated in this matter, a provisional government has been formed. After stability has been restored, elections for a new government will happen."
Wow, you get to prepare the world for the invasion without blowing up its military or sacrificing your own on the altar of xp.
>From now on I'll probably waste all the NG+ cash on making shit units viable rather than making good units broken.
Yeah, that works much better - pull the weaker guys that you would never use up to speed and get more creative with unit/pilot switching instead.
post your favorite OG whens
post other OG whens
what will your OG do when they get into OG?
Have you tried upgrading stuff and seen that "Limit" stat yet?
Also, it's mainly the damage formula. In the old days Will was fucking everything for some reason, so Rouse and Yell were the most important spirits in the game because if you get to 150 will on turn 1 or 2 everything dies. Other than that it's just douchey but not that harmful stuff like accuracy depending on mobility.
The big ones are
1) Morale/Will is a straight final percentage multiplier in the formula rather than modern SRW where it adds to stats - in practice, this means Wonkysoft damage adjustment from Will is roughly more than 2x it would be compared to modern SRW
Also enemies don't inherently gain +1 Will per kill, which is why Yell spam is a strategy that stomps all over them.
(Kinda like morale actually making a big difference instead of something you're expected to hit the cap nowadays for little to no advantage but oh well)
2) There is no Defense stat - Armor yes, but not Defense. This means that attacks rapidly outscale defense as the game goes on and you would need something ridiculous like 3k armor or 120k HP + Guard to tank in the late game.
3) Mobility affects both accuracy and evasion - it didn't affect Accuracy in Alpha Gaiden up until Z1.
So first person to Alpha Strike wins?
>worst J mech
>the Brigandy absolutely shits on the Dracodeus and Brachium as a map clearer
>it doesn't have to wait until the end of the game for a completely underwhelming finisher that is inferior to the Raftclanz's
>Calvina's a much better pilot than Touya
Dracodeusfags are delusional as fuck
>So supers without alert are worthless lategame ?
There are some Supers which do have the sort of ridiculous stats I mentioned, like Gunbuster.
But most of the viable Supers in late game are basically the multis like Dancougar.
>wrong, C3 and MX do that
OK, fine, I phrased that awkwardly and also forgot those two special case games.
Against mooks that don't start at high will levels they fare off just fine.
If you use those supers you generally want to kill before you get killed, the final bosses easily hit for over 10K on a fully upgraded Mazinkaiser
Lambda Driver provides a final damage bonus that's Will level -20 / 100.
At 170 will that's 1.5 final damage.
Crystal Heart in K is the same except I think it uses J's Lambda Driver (which is Will level / 100 so that leads to fucking hilarious shit at 170 will)
I've never played any portable except OG
I thought every game can do that? I remember someone posted how you can one shot Kali Yuga in UX or something?
Whats the matter here? Seems like he's only cherry picking
I'm pretty sure Mist-san can oneshot the final boss of his game too.
At 99 kills and with only 1 run worth of skill part investment I could hit near 100K with a Regret Buster (and that's before applying Daunt)
> I remember someone posted how you can one shot Kali Yuga in UX or something?
You can two-shot her with a Master Therion with maxed stats, thanks to him essentially being Demonbane with access to Soul, which was still a 2.5 damage multiplier.
You can, however, straight up one shot her with Liu Bei if you unlocked the combo with Lu Bu.
First, you don't need to get 100% believing it. You just need enough legitimacy to hold everything together for 6 months and then everyone gets a front row seat to giant alien mechanical bug invasion.
Second, you have a mountain of evidence, physical and otherwise. Plus you've probably killed anyone with a vested interest in lying about the invasion, so there's limited opposition.
Damage was stored in the game as a plain 16 bit unsigned integer meaning the absolute maximum value it could ever register was 65535.
The game just could not recognize a number any higher than that.
((attacker morale + stat) * (weapon power) / 200) - ((defender morale + Defense) * Armor / 200), adjusted for terrain ranks then modified by Love bonuses, Attacker, ace bonuses, etc.
So Mist at an optimal build:
((999 + 170) * 9845) / 200 = 57544,025 already
Now I'm not sure the exact order on thse but
* Crystal Heart bonus (1.5?) = 86316.0375
* Soul bonus (2.5) = 215790,094 damage before armor
So, unless at 50 will Ru-Cobol's Arceus packs enough defense to tank over 15K damage, Mist can oneshot his final boss.
K has shitty relationship bonuses instead of the usual ones, so Mist doesn't get an extra 8%/12%/16% or whatever.
But unless Bian takes direct control of things, you run the risk of the not-killed world leaders deciding to betray Earth all over again. Also, if someone comes to you and says they killed a bunch of politicians for betraying the Earth to aliens and you give them some evidence justifying yourself, I somehow doubt you'll get a lot of people believing you.
Coup d'état. Why wouldn't Bian take control until the invasion?
This isn't some drunk farmer out in the boonies screaming about being anally probed, this is a huge military organization that suddenly appeared out of nowhere with supertech giant robots saying they could only get their supertech giant robots because of aliens. Plus they have documented evidence of the government systematically covering up this information. Just the fact that they exist is some of the best proof they have.
And its not like Mao or Isurugi would gainsay them about this, since they know damned well they can only build their shit because of EOT.
>@3 is where EoE takes place.
Like >>14507197 said, you do the Mass Produced Evas fight too.
Just that... 3rd Impact didn't happen in @1 but did in @3? I forgot
Man, Alpha -> Alpha 3 Evangelion handling was odd - was this the only time they literally did a whole bunch of things in the plot that they already did in the same game all over again because... popularity?
Hugo wear pants because he can't feel his lower body
I dunno if it was exactly out of popularity, since the EVA stuff was plenty relevant to the Apocalypsis plot and Alpha 3 was big on Alpha 1 returners in center stage.
We did end up getting a pretty kickass stage out of it, at least.
Yeah, I just checked the JP wiki for confirmation and it seems Crystal Heart is indeed 1.5 final damage at 170 will, and even at max will.
>Brave Crash is a full 1500 points stronger than Solvras Regina's finisher, and only 100 points below Crystal Heart Sword for measly 50 EN
Right, I forgot Revlias was also a fucking stupid mech in terms of attack power.
Bian's just a scientist, why would he have to take control? All he cares about is Earth not capitulating. I mean, look how he ran the DC and who he let in.
I thought EOT was already legitimized as an organization that was analyzing Meteor 3 and came up with supertech. So using it as proof aliens are in contact with us is a bit thin.
Well, there was that time in Alpha 1 that Kamille fought Yazan and got so mad at him that he activated the Biosensor, and that time in Alpha 2 that Kamille fought Yazan and got so mad at him that he activated the Biosensor, and that time in Alpha 3 that Kamille fought Yazan and got so mad at him that he activated the Biosensor.
Bian's lack of strategic thinking skills really doesn't say anything about the man's organizational skills. Dude created a terribly effective army from nothing in a few years while maintaining absolute secrecy. As long as he delegates military planning to someone competent, it could work.
EOT press conference: "All that tech we came up with analyzing Meteor3? Aliens. Like, we found blueprints for entire mechs that we copied. Look, we have pictures and shit. Also we do tours now."
They're both applied after armor. You'll still be able to one-shot him, since I think his armor only blocks around 3-4k at 50 will, but those defenses do get applied before your multipliers.
Actually, and I give the Z team a lot of credit for this, Z avoided it. Z2 managed to come up with entirely different circumstances for Kamille to activate the Biosensor that didn't involve bringing Yazan back over and over just for Kamille to sperg out at him again, and in Z3 he just remembered how to use that extremely useful thing he can do instead of forgetting it for no reason.
Morning, guys. New set of people joining the rotation for those interested.
How is everyone this morning/afternoon?
>>They're both applied after armor.
Nah, I remember when I tried to kill Idun with Cross Dock, casting Hotblood made me deal less than twice the damage than when I accidentally used it without it and had to reload.
kore ga na
>get mad at everything and everyone
>expect people to stand her
Its not even about how Touya is better. It could literally be Mist and the same thing will still happen
Even OGs doesn't do much to fix how fucking incompetent every villain faction is.
Instead it just goes HERE'S AXEL ACTING LIKE A REAL HUMAN BEING AND UUUH THE R CAST I GUESS?? BUT ALSO FILLER STAGES THAT AMOUNT TO FUCKALL
Only Blade, I'm afraid, though a few people have voted for the original Tekkaman to be included some time.
You got Tekkaman Blade, R-Daigun, part of Baxinger, Sorakage, Rushbird, the White Gail, Gattaiger, part of Vandread, the Kapool, the Beetle from Barcode Fighter, and part of Raijinoh.
It's what happens when every semi-competent individual in the world goes and join the Steel Dragons. Everyone else ends up understaffed in the actually knowing what the fuck they're doing department.
>the main games to use techno music are the fantasy-themed ones with magic powered original
That kinda makes it even worse.
You got Soulgain, the Moribido from JINKI, part of GodSigma, the Vic Viper, Diablo, part of Daltanious, part of Armageddon Shin Getter, part of Dancougar Burn, part of Ginguiser, the Archangel and RahXephon.
Meanwhile, in your version of Shadow Mirror, we have Soulgain, part of Raijinoh, Dai Sword, part of Tri-Zenon, part of Xardion, part of G Dangaioh, part of Gravion, the R-Gun, the Vegalion, Aile Chevalier, and Basara's Valkyrie (heh).
We got the Siegzarl, Gundam Mk II, Force Impulse Gundam, Virgola, part of Mechander Robo, part of Aquarion, RVR-01 Gauntret, Gilliam's Gespenst, the Freeden, Wing Gundam Seraphim and the Weltall.
Hey, this roll's not too bad, huh?
So when's the Steam release of Moon Dwellers?
It's happening right?
I hope they make it available so I can play it on my Mac.
I never thought it was that great desu.
The gameplay felt oddly balanced to me and some of the battle masteries were overly RNG dependent. The new music engine fucking sucked too, all of the returning songs from OG1 sounded like ass.
OGs did OG2 better, if only they hadn't fucked the final stage up.
I'm not sure how to tell you this. But it will get released the same day Ibis starts complaining about backache.
You get GodMars, part of Goshogun, part of Rayearth, Neo-Okusaer, Ippatsuman's mech, Gosaurer, Isamu's YF, Hikaru's VF, one of the Machine Blasters, Kikaioh, and Red Baron.
Thank you for allowing me to test out my Bhaskar Mode.
From now on I shall spread the fear of darkness into your souls
Either they're making the third attack non-P, or he'll be limited to 5 range. Which really isn't that terrible, but it's short enough that he'll occasionally get sniped without a chance to counter.
Recent famitsu SRW character poll

The Furies not only have some of the coolest lines and voices in the game, but they also have some of the cooler terms in general.
but I'd love to find out what a Raftclans is
It's like "Buster Mode", but it's also not "Buster Mode". Like, shit, that's so cool.
It's fun to see that Debtman is popular both here and with the Nips.
I don't think anyone else in OG says anything when they activate their super modes other than FURU DORAIBU.
No OBA DORAIBU yet, we need Dis, Banpreios and
Super Soulgain and Angelg Splendidfor that
