So some people asked me to divulge my skincare routine. My fiancee helped me put this together. So anyway.
-mineral oil. First thing is I cleanse my face and neck with mineral oil. Like you might have to play around to find an oil that suits your skin because some can break you out. Like my fiancee uses hemp oil because others don't agree with her. Spend a minute or two gently massaging it into your skin. You can dab off the excess if there is any after
-exfoliant/bha. I use stridex. I hear it's pretty popular and cheap in America but you can get it here in pharmacies so I get mine from Amazon. Again do your face and neck. I also do my back because I'm prone to acne there and it fixes it tf up.
-aha. I'm not sure what brand I use but again face/neck gently rub it in. This you should let all on. Don't remove excess.
-hada labo this is some magic shit from Korea. It basically sucks the moisture out of the air and into your face. You'll only really see benefit if the humidity is above about 70%. Luckily here in Ireland it never drops below that and is often up to 100%. I really don't recommend it if you're in more dry climates because it can actually dehydrate your skin then.
-vitamin c serum. Now this is fucking important. You won't see the benefits for about a year. But daily use of this will actually promote collagen production. I have pretty severe forehead lines so I'm obsessed with this.
-optional, slug life. Slather your face in Vaseline before you go to sleep. I dobt do it because it feels disgusting but some people I know swear by it.
And most importantly
WEAR FUCKING SUNSCREEN EVERY FUCKING DAY REGARDLESS OF WHETHER THERE'S SUN OR NOT
There's no point looking after your skin if you're going to let uv fuck it up.
So yeah sunscreen every day, reapply every two hours worth of time you're in the sun. And I do that routine every night. It's important to leave about twenty minutes between each step too.
