The last good 13" MacBook to buy was the Mid 2014 Pro. The Early 2015 upgrade was complete shit, some of the CPUs were actually a bit slower than the predecessors. And in Europe they became a lot more expensive at that point.
They really need to upgrade soon, it's getting obvious at this point, that they don't give a fuck about computers any longer.
