which Android keyboard do you use?

ive been using swftkey and i really like the non automatic suggestions at the top that also remember your words , at the time no other keyboard did this but i guess that was years ago.

is there any better alternative with that feature or what does /g/ use?

Google Keyboard is now bestest best. I used Fleksi for a time, it was all right.
>>
I used to be a big believer of SwiftKey. but over a year or so it has become shitty. I like it's backspace gestures, and it's quick punctuation gestures but their predictions are going to trash. it used to be so good, now it's constantly suggesting words I never use. I tried other keyboards and they suck more, so it seems. is there a way to disable trending phases? and disable suggesting two words at a time?

Your keyboard is still stuck on holo design language and is obsolete.

Google keyboard has material design and is faster.

swipe left from backspace and hold, do not lift your finger, just continue to slide it left and right. It allows you to select exactly what you're deleting and increments one word at a time

Tried other keyboards along the way but none have as good word prediction when swyping. Swyping shortcuts for punctuation and grammar is another thing I've only seen Swype have, otherwise I might've considered Swiftkey for a moment.
I've scored 70wpm with Swype keyboard on a typing test, pretty happy about that.

Google Keyboard APK from the Android N preview
>>
the thing about SwiftKey, you can enter words without typing, all others you have to at least try some word to get any sort of worthwhile prediction. I've tried many. and if you miss some keyboard presses, SwiftKey will factor in some seperate words interchanging the bottom row and spacebar, incase you miss it. when it works it's great. it does better than the others that say they do it too.
I feel SwiftKey waits for the user, and all other keyboards, you wait for the keyboard.

it's a shame, because SwiftKey sucks lately, and I was looking for alternatives. and after trying so many others, I keep going back. I wish i could find an older version somewhere.

Fleksy is closest to recreating the magic of WP's almost telepathic ability for rescuing horrifically garbled typing.

SwiftKey learns words too quickly. If I type a web address into Chrome in incognito mode, or edit an address in another app even once, it'll remember it, which is suboptimal when said address is basically porn

Google keyboard is the best. However, i cant seem to use the "swipe on spacebar to move cursor" feature reliably. I swipe and either nothing happens or it registers it as a swipe on the bottom row of keys, despite the swipe trail being on the spacebar. Any ideas how to git gud at this, or is it just faulty?
