The only time I've seen off topic weeaboo threads was when the mods were asleep for line 30 min. On the downside they typically have more tripfags which is annoying as hell.
Gaymers are maybe less pathetic IRL (honestly though it's a toss up) but they are more annoying than weeaboos on /g/ because they make tons of stupid threads like speccy threads and BST threads. These threads might be slightly related to technology but they were given two boards already on which to discuss their gaming rig setups. Also the constant MS shilling is probably due to v-tards as well. In short if rather share the board with some weeaboos than since Gaymers but ultimately I don't get to decide that and neither does anyone except the mods so we should just shut up about it.

Mine cost 2000 aud includimg monitor and peripherals.
Hd7970 and Fx8350 have held up so far and i havent seen less performance from either, nor have newer gens of cards been that impressive.

The only real performance benefit is slightly better gas mileage. Meanwhile a $2000 computer can max out any game, play 4k video and will run any resource-intensive program easily.
