I'd rather buy a new phone every year for 3 years, since it'll end up costing the same, more or less, but will keep me from using the same worn out hardware for 3 years.

I was getting some very strange speeds when I benchmarked mine (100-150 MB/s read, 8-14 MB/s write while in the phone, don't have an equivalent Android device or USB3 reader sadly - kinda doubt those reads are real though), and my music player has frozen up a few times when skipping tracks.
