Any strap suggestions for this? Really not sure what to go with. Came with brown faux croc leather but I both dislike brown and croc.
I've tried black suede and a perlon but neither of them look great imo.

I got most of my pieces from Yahoo Japan Auctions using a proxy service, you can find WAY better deals there if you know how to read the tea leaves of listing translated with google translate and a few small grainy pics.

I got the LM Special for $70 USD, the Presmatic for $77 USD and the KS Special for $130 USD (all plus shipping).

I doubt. The design would good if the links were solid, reminds me of the bracelet of the Semenmaster Pro, but it's still folded and the built quality is total shit.

The problem isn't so much the rattling, but the hair pulling. And I don't trust it not to pull apart after some time or start to rust.

No. The bracelets on the special editions are decent though.

More moving parts to fail, especially a big heavy rotor which is generally what breaks on an automatic watch, They take forever to charge up fully swinging your arm like a doofus, I had one and quickly grew to hate it.
>>
>>54202886

A nice Sturmanskie is cheaper to get and still military-issued. There's the early to mid-80s one with the 3133 inside, then 1986 on with the 31659 movement (3133 plus hacking). I prefer the 31659.

Thank you to the anons who posted stuff about wearing your nato "down under style".

Tried it and now won't return to the classic way.
The cushion that forms from the strap, like in pic, does a very good job, holding the watch firmly in place.
But it's not as tight and uncomfortable like when i tightened the strap, wearing it the normal way.

Here the instruction from the fat fukka.

Batteries are not magic. They are containers for a chemical reaction, and that reaction will always get weaker with time.

Just get a Casio MDV 106.
More reliable and you don't have to deal the 7s26 shitting out on you
Also for 10 bucks you can get a bracelet that's better than the tin can links that come with the SKX.

SKX009 and SKX013 are still in production AFAIK.

Yeah but they're more expensive than I remember.
>>

I hope they don't
The turtle is $150 more expensive than it should be has awful alignment issues.

You can buy a 007 and change the bezel i guess.
I like my 013, shame i scratched the shit out of the bezel and i don't use it too much now because of it. All because i was making out with a girl once, not worth it.

The 007 has a black dial though not blue like the 009.

Does anyone have a seiko 5 with a red, white, and blue NATO strap? I bought the strap for an America themed party, but I don't know if it'll look okay. If anyone has both of those and would be able to post a picture of them together, I'd really appreciate it.

The 7s26 is very very sensitive to shock (even the C)
It's a cost cutting measure.
It's a good movement if you pay 50 bucks for a seiko 5, it's not good when they want 200 bucks for it in an SKX
Even fucking invicta only charges you like 80 bucks for a 4r.
The turtle is also a huge scam. Sure it's a historical design but the movement, crystal and the alignment problems do not merit its price tag.

The Duro one of the best divers in the low end market because Casio doesn't jew you like other companies do.

>>
>>54208671
>The 7s26 is very very sensitive to shock (even the C)
No it isn't. I own one. It's not Vostok levels of shock proof, but has a very good performance in that department.

Price and whatnot aside, I'm just talking about the movement capabilities.
>>
>>54207379

Got this as my first G-Shock second hand for $140. You can get it on Amazon now for a little over $200. It's a great ABC watch if you need it want all the sensors. It's too big for some. For $500, though, could get you 2 or 3 nice watches. Hell, you could get 10 or more different G-Shocks. If you want something a little more understated, there's the GWM5610 for like $100. Or the DW5600E for $40.

Acrylic is lightweight, easy to polish, cheap, can be molded into cool dome shapes, doesn't get smudged with fingerprints easily, doesn't reflect as much glare, and won't shatter.
