Ghostleeching is downloading files without taking a ratio hit (No Upload/Download Reported). You have to use a different IP for the actual downloading. Here is how it works:
1. You grab a torrent.
2. You Pause the torrent or severely limit the download speed
3. Write down all peers (IP and Port)
+++++++
On a different IP (use a VPN) :
4. Add the torrent to your client
5. Remove the tracker (which has your passkey and identifying information)
6. Add the Peers and you are good to go!
You will now download torrents without being a member of the tracker
Note 1:
Due to DHT you can't "Add Peers" to Private torrents. You can either use a modified client (utorrent serenity) or Google "utorrent dht patcher" to remove the private flag and enable DHT
Note 2:
It looks suspicious if you add torrents, but dont complete them. So keep track of your IPs/peers and you will find some that are either "Archivers" or auto-snatch new shit. I add those by default.
Note 3:
This is a good method for "cross-seeding" Golden Popcorn torrents. Not a good method for obscure content

or some torrents have a sample. You download the sample. Grab the peers, then ghostleech the entire thing. This is one of my favourite methods, because you have a good excuse - you just wanted to see how good the sample was

Use different clients for the peer grabbing and the ghostleeching
Use a reputable client (not uTorrent/Azureus) for the peers. Ideally you'd use rTorrent (cause no cheaters use rTorrent :^))

Plentiful V0 and FLAC. I think there's a small proportion of releases downloadable only on there and WCD carries specific versions of the CD. Notifications system is also nice.
However slsk also has a decent WCD userbase so you should be able to get the same set of files for the more popular stuff.
Don't expect to find extremely obscure indie music on WCD, you could request it but it's buffer expensive so at the most you would have to webrip that yourself.

>I use Ratio Groups in my torrent clients. I keep Movies seeding for a minimum of 1 week or >=3 ratio and for TV, I seed for 3 days or ratio >=4. I also permaseed a bunch of stuff because I also want to be a good member of the PT community as well. It's a very delicate balance. Luckily, I have a lot of storage on the server and a very fast pipe to keep my buffer at the level I need it to be to keep the flow.

There's so many movies you can upload to PTP its ridiculous. I was able to do over a dozen in a few days just by using public trackers and DDL blogs.
And yes, several important trackers recruit from PU.

There's nothing much of interest in PTP's PU forums if you are already elite on WCD. I don't think you really need to worry about buffer on PTP and GPs are a laughably good source of upload. Besides, they literally never delete torrents.

In the end you should have a list of 300-500 seedboxes
Then just inject these into every torrent you want to ghostleech from

You would dowload the .torrent file from HDBits/IPT/whatever. But make sure the info_hash is identical (check the files list).
Then you remove your HDBits tracker announce and inject your PTP peers.
And unless HDBits and PTP collaborate you are undetectable :^)

It makes perfect sense for a top tracker to recruit from a book tracker. The smarter your userbase, the better your tracker becomes.
