>I'm the one who made this img. I'm not trying to shill anything, it's just that the Pixart 3366 Sensor is the best sensor currently on the market. At least from my understanding. High tracking speeds are important for pro FPS gamers, especially when doing flick shots. Also the sensor is as close to raw as possible, it's almost identical to the the MLT04 sensor in the Intellimouse. By the way, I absolutely hate the design of the G502 and G303. And I'm currently waiting for Logitech's License on the Pixart 3366 to end, so other companies can start using the same sensor in their products.

>>52138969
Anyone used the old mamba? I wanna say 2012 but it might be 2013.

It's a pretty heavy mouse I think, and definitely the most comfortable I've used.
Unfortunately It's started to do that lift off tracking error shit where when i lift up sometimes it registers as a downwards swipe, really fucking up my server records on CSGO.

also the scroll wheel click doesn't work anymore which sucks too.

Is the current death adder worth owning? Is it heavy as well? I gather the mamba is heavy because it has a battery.

this is about as fantastically unscientific as it could possibly be.

at least with sensor tracking tests it had a setup where it removed a ton of variables, was consistent and would give the same data (within margins of 1% or less) and didn't require you to just smash two mice together.

There definitely is a difference between a decent mouse and something that you buy on amazon for 10 bucks with 5400dpi and some stupid leds, but then there's also this fucking branch of people looking for a "perfect sensor" and a "perfect click latency" and this and that. Personally I have had a MX518 and a Rival and both feel similar. Some people act like 2 ms on something specific matters. If you don't have some real mad "skillz" you ain't gonna do shit with that anyways.

>>52141357

>>52141559
having a good sensor is the biggest thing, really.

Good sensors don't muck with your inputs and help you become more consistent in your movements and aiming. They don't introduce any smoothing or acceleration which can change how fast/slow your cursor moves across the screen at random, essentially adding variance to how you play.

After I disabled window's smoothing and got a mouse with a good sensor there was a noticeable improvement in how I played in games across the board and even how i navigated my OS.
Having a more consistent movement to your cursor is just straight up better.
>>
>>52141470
Nice arbitrary standard you have there. Why pay the premium at all for an inferior product?

What's retarded are people getting upset over a guide that priorities hardware over subjective things such as looks and ergonomics.
I can't tell if these retards are shilling because of buyer's remorse or what.

As a Roccat Kone Pure mouse owner, I'm highly disappointed with their pseudo "highest-quality build" product and their lack of warranty.
I've always taken good care of it and it started dying after barely 2 years, which is unacceptable for its price.
no-warranty/10, would never buy from Roccat again.

I've had the same issue with my previous G500, but I was able to get it replaced... and then it died just like the other one.

These two. I use an MX Master with my laptop in college and it's the best wireless mouse I've ever used. I also use a trackballs for general OS handling.

The guide assumes that eveyone wants presision and lower latency with every mouse they have. I use the MX Master because of how great a mouse it is and how portable it is. I use my kensington orbit trackball for home use because after working on computers with normal mice all day my joints hurt. It helps get rid of some pain.

I think it would be more like is there any difference to riding a car with a max speed of 210 mph on a street with a speed limit of 20 mph to a van with a max speed of 80 mph

I really want to get that mouse, but I can't justify replacing my g502.

Nice Trips!

>all these fags hating on the g502 simply because it's always placed in god tier above their shit mouse

Heh. Seriously though, best mouse I've ever owned.

It's so fucking autistic in shape and button layout, also it's heavy as fuck. I just want logitech's license on the Pixart 3366 to expire already....

I have a g302, it's the best mouse I've used extensively, versus a razer deathadder, final meme, and some shitty mouse from Amazon. If you can get it cheap then go for it. Also if you have massive hands it might not be the best choice.

Got a func ms-2 and its the best mouse ive ever used. To bad the company got sold out to fnatic

Why does the g502 and g303 have the best hardware but the shittiest design for a mouse. It's fucking awful

Got the g502. Amazing mouse. Best I've ever used.
>>
I bought the G400s a year or so ago and it's served me well, except this weird stuttering problem I get from time to time where I have to pick the mouse up and hit it gently down to clear the problem out. How did I do and what is wrong with this fucking mouse?
>>
Just got a Castor today, I like it but I'm still trying to find the best grip for it. I used a g9x before so my grip became very claw-y, whereas the Castor demands more of a palm.

Moving my index finger to the scroll wheel feels slightly weird to my ring finger, but I'll keep using it and see what happens. I was deciding between the Castor and the Naos btw.

Do you realize that majority of gaming/performance mouse is made in China?

Plus I'm using this mouse also, it feels great for me

All the best stuff is made in China, Doc.

So I need a new mouse, should I get a G502 or 302, I'm currently using some £5 mouse that came with a shitty keyboard I bought a few years ago, I have a mechanical keyboard now, just not a decent mouse to go with it.

Another question, how do these mice work on linux. I notice the G502 has 11 programmable buttons, is it as easy to use that functionality on linux or not?
>>
>>52170172
You need to program the buttons in Windows and then put it on a device profile to then use on Linux

After using G602 a few days, noticing an issue with the axes being about 3 degress or so off of what my instinct expects. Could be I'm just very used to ambidextrous/symmetrical. Seem to recall not liking other Logitechs in the past because of that however. Wonder if there's a way to change it.
>>
I am using a Razer Mamba since 3 years straight and I never had a better mouse.
I don't care for wireless, never used it but this is by far the most comfy mouse I ever used.
The mouseclick broke a while ago but that is the only issue I ever had.
Are there other mouse with similar shape/size that doesn't cost a trillion shekels?

is "click latency" some new snake oil meme buzzword

>implying sensor, click latency, etc. matter nearly as much as shape

oh but then you couldn't quantify it an put it on a fancy infograph. play any competitive game that relies on mouse movement. a mouse with a shape that fits the player but has technically worse specs will always win out vs a mouse with "good" specs that feels like shit in your hands.
