Only reason to buy a sound card is for specialty purposes like " I want a headphone amp for specific sound quality in production" or "I need 2 independent cards for media output to different systems" (only two people I installed cards in). Onboard audio is fantastic on this generations boards, but they will have some noise that only higher end systems and people with tunes ears will hear. Don't buy a soundblaster when you could put your money into better components.
Whenever I close a resource heavy program(like a game or something). My computer pretty much locks up for a while.

RAM may help but I bet you CPU is the bottleneck. Think of RAM more as the table to a worker (CPU). A huge table with all your work on it doesn't help a slow person work faster. Check you CPU usage when you close those programs. You can find it in task manager in the performance section.

Try holding the control key and using the scroll wheel on you mouse (two finder on a laptop) till you find what you like. I've found it usually applies to all folders afterwards. You can check that in task manager too, if disk usage if above 50℅, the computer may be having indexing issues which is Windows related, or may be failing SMART, a hardware check. See if your computer or hard drive manufactur has diagnostic utilities for that. Dells and HP's have it built in.

That is the onboard RAM listed alongside the card. Usually, you can't find a card these days with less than 512mb, which is OK! I would suggest buying a Geforce 210 as a cheap replacement! It's most likely to be compatible.

Probably RAM is the issue. Chances are because you have so little RAM, when you're playing the game stuff is being stored on the swap space in your hard drive, then when you shut it down it's freeing the swap memory

My opinion on this is pretty bias as I work primarily outside of linux, but I'll try to break it down Barney style. Linux has very little overhead so computers tend to run faster on it. It also doesn't suffer from nearly as many update hiccups or viruses because its not a big market share BUT their viruses tend to be much more aggressive.

Ill backtrack on my own fault here. I mistook you I initial question as a typo desiring actual RAID 1 not RAIDz1. Yes you should be fine with that as a setup. I mean really, why do you want an editor in the first place? There's two big reasons I can think of:

2: Built in launch support
If you're going to pay for an HTML IDE, there's only one worthwhile product: Adobe Dreamweaver. Dreamweaver is a WYSIWYG ide with some gnarly features (such as automatic uploading of code to your web server). It's expensive though. If you want a fancy text editor, Komodo is your best bet.

Yep. PS4 can display at a max resolution of 1080p. Trying to play it on a 1440p monitor means you're going to basically see a 1080p display area with a large black border around it. If you try to stretch out the image (assuming your monitor supports that) it's gonna be blurry and shitty looking. Just play it on your 1080p TV.

There is a CM Hyper 212 EVO cooling the CPU.
Main source of heat is an AMD R9 290.
1. The two 120 mm intake fans have that front cover and individual dust filters in the way of the air intake.
If I'm getting new case fans, should I look into static pressure or air flow fans?
2. I have the optional 140 mm fan installed up top.
Is that even necessary to keep good airflow?

How is ePub reading on android tablets or fire?
Want a tablet for an ereader/cookbook. Read textbooks and epubs. Using mum's ipad mini and epub is great on it. Also, flux like thing would be great.

My brother is really big into vintage computers despite being born in 1997. He recently found an IBM PC 5150 on the local classifieds for $300 Canadabux ($215 freedom dollars) and negotiated the guy down to $250 CAD (or $180 USD). The system comes with a monitor, a bunch of software, dual 5.25" floppy drives and several versions of MS-DOS. It looks like it's in pretty good shape, too.
I really don't know much about these things at all. The oldest computer I own is a Macintosh Quadra 605, which despite being ancient is still a full decade newer than the IBM and infinitely more advanced. Are the PC 5150s generally regarded as reliable (or better still, near-unkillable)? Is the price decent all things considered? I've seen some ridiculous BINs on eBay but as usual I take those listings with a grain of salt.
overclocking my qnix monitor to 120 hz forces my gpu to clock up from 324 mhz / 875 mv to 692 mhz / 925 mv on regular desktop usage. is the uptick in wattage minimal, or would continual usage add up over time to not justify 120 hz? at 110 hz the gpu doesn't tick up and stays at its default setting

Your airflow is currently -20, you want it to either be positive or neutral. Having a negative airflow means you'll get air sucked in through the cracks in the vent to make up for the difference, meaning you'll get dust build up.

FO4 won't really benefit. There isn't much texture streaming. Unless you're constantly going in and out of buildings and the loading times are too long for you, I wouldn't bother. My loading times seemed fine on my HDD, I very rarely install games on my SSD unless it's something I'm hyped as fuck for and I'm marathoning it (like I did with TW3, but agian, with that being an open world with very few loading times, it did'nt make a difference)

I think he's mainly doing it for the hardware. At the moment he's got an Amiga 500, a Commodore 64 (both of which were picked up from a yard sale for $20 a piece), a Powerbook 180c ($80 off Kijiji) and one of the original Bondi Blue iMacs (a trash find). It's been a while since New Vegas, but I feel like they were substantially better.
Not only that, lots of the interiors of buildings aren't instanced, which means no loading times (kind of like how TW3 had no loading times once you entered the game, ever building was accessible without a loading time). No. Skylake itself is really no better than Haswell refresh. (It is better but not in a way you'll ever notice) There will always be something "better". If you have a decent CPU, mobo, PSU, and RAM the only thing you will ever have to upgrade in the next five years is the GPU. Also note you could go with a Haswell build, unless you really need a six core CPU..

So I got a good deal on a Sprint phone, I've called Sprint and verified the ESN is clean (NOT reported lost/stolen, NOT tied to any account)
Now I can't activate it with any MVNOs running on Sprint's network because of something called "Financial Eligibility Check" which is basically a lock put on phones that weren't paid in full OR weren't active on their network for 12 continuous months.
