People want easy access to all this information. They want their interests fed to them instantly all the time and most often want it free.
Yet they don't seem to understand for this thing to happen you have to give access to something. Something needs to build an profile of you.
Enter windows 10. People are getting it free and liking it because everything they need, want and like is just there for them. It knows what news you want to read about it keeps you up to date on social media it does all those things you want.
OMG spying? Is it spying? Or is it it gathering the required info to accomplish the above mentioned things?
You can shut all the stuff in windows 10 off that "spies" on you. You then lose access to all that personalized information you like so much and you go back to having to use feed readers or management of bookmarks and using 20 different apps and sites for all these different things.
So yea you can have your standard windows that works like every other windows of the past or you can use the windows tailored just for you with all the stuff you want easily accessible instantly.
So stop complaining its a huge spy machine because first off it can all be disabled and second you have all been feeding Google and Facebook this data for YEARS. The only way to not be profiled online is to either never go online or never use your real name or entering your address into anything or giving out enough disparate details about yourself that a computer can't figure it out... Oh wait.
The only solution is to never go online. Ever.
