Suddenly there is an arise of posts which recommend Botnetware like Chromium, Vivaldi or browsers which will soon have QTWebengine (=Blink=Chromium=Botnet) like Otter or Qupzilla.
No matter how many features Mozilla removes from Firefox and even if it really would become an almost Chrome like experience, it is still the best browser because of real Open Source.
It always was like this and always will be like that, that Open Source is more important than choice, features or ricing ability. Who is not using Mozilla Firefox is betraying everyone and everything which tries to fight for freedom and against commercialism and greed!
Think about it and stop with that garbage!
So, give Mozilla your donations and uninstall other browsers and recommend others to do too!

While i hate closed source to death, no it is not. There are tons of ricing features in the Vivaldi menu, and you can rewrite the whole UI with css code using custom.css
But it is still Chromium and no one should use a Botnet related browser. Phoning home to Google can not be avoided there entirely so it will always belong to Google in one way or another.

Normal Chromiu source code, but the code for the UI components will never be made public as that is Vivaldi's trademark technology and consists of a bunch of closed source components too.
These components are not created by Vivaldi, but their devs are using that code to create their non native UI.
