Did you try that Westmalle yet? I love trappist beers, they are possibly some of my favourites other than stouts/porters. Waitrose often have the Westmalle on offer for about £1.80-£2 iirc which is a good price.

A lot of things, you'll need to be more specific if you're talking in regards to craft beer
Price wise it's going to be a bit challenging to find something that would be actually cheap, but there are good deals
For example a liquor store near me sells Southern Tier Choklat for about 6.50 for a 24oz bomber, Choklat is about 11% ABV, so a bomber would have 4 beers in it (of 5% ABV). Have 3 of those and you'll probably be set for a night, but it would probably be near $20 total for about 12 drinks, and if you've been to college you know you can do better than that. Plus Choklat is probably something you would only have a bottle of at a time from how strong the taste is alone
But it's still better than almost any bar price wise for 12 beers of any kind, even during happy hour, and you don't have to tip
Then again I don't really buy craft beer if I'm trying to get drunk, too expensive for a drunk, plus I wouldn't be able to really savor it and enjoy it after the first few drinks

After trying multiple cans and bottles of Guinness I can say the cans win out, I tried them both directly too, either from the can and directly from the bottle or pouring them into a glass.

I drink lots of vodka. That cleans out my system, and even cleans my teeth (I haven’t brushed in years, and haven’t had a cavity since).
I also eat a liverwurst sandwich pretty much every day – to counterbalance the effects the vodka has on my liver. They give you all your essential amino acids, and provide a nice opportunity to try out various hot sauces, which are generally very low in calories, while high in flavor and immensely prodigious to healthiness.
Aside from that, I drink large amounts of water (anywhere between ice-cold to slightly chilled) every day, always through a straw, and sometimes with a lemon wedge.

Cider, as depicted in the image is a cold pressed apple based beverage that is non-alcoholic. It's unpasteurized, unfiltered and devoid of arsenic, something that is widely used to "preserve" apple products like "juice" and "sauce".
Juice, IS pasteurized, filtered and treated with arsenic to not only preserve it's golden appearance but to extend it's shelf-life without refridgeration.
There is a significant difference, but some similarities also remain. Europeans tend to enjoy mulled wine over the Holidays, mulled cider is something very common here (New York) during this time of year. Apples were more readily available than grapes, so instead of wine cider was substituted for this Holiday beverage.
Dry cider/Sweet cider, or alcoholic cider isn't very common place here. Strongbow started advertising in the states a few years ago, despite being a household name in much of Europe, especially in the UK and Ireland. Magners would be the most common cider in Ireland, that's from my personal experiences there, it was on tap in every pub I went to, no matter where I was in Ireland. I visited Cork for 3 months every summer as a child, as I am the only American born in my family, my parents came to NY in 1976.
So TLDR- cider isn't alcoholic all the time.

If you like the Westmalle, you may also like Rochefort which is another trappist beer and similar in style, and if you ever get the opportunity to buy or taste a Westvleteren 12 then you really should. Its incredible. It blows the Westmalle away.

Just put one of these in the fridge to chill. £1.25 from Asda for a 500ml bottle. Its not that strong, but Bath Ales are a good brewery. Always putting out decent beers and have some really nice pubs.

My experience with brown ales comes from Newcastle Brown Ale which is utterly revolting and last night I had a Dogfish Head Indian Brown Ale which is supposed to be really good
The Newcastle was awful and the Dogfish Head seemed to be a quality brew but still tasted bad IMO
I think it was the caramel, it made me kinda nauseated and very dehydrated

Newcastle is just awful, and dogfish head can be pretty overwhelming. Samuel Smiths is more nutty like a brown ale should be. Brekles brown is good as hell too. I'd give it one more shot at least.

In the US, cider usually means apple juice, not the alcoholic beverage. If you call it "hard cider" then it's the fermented (alcoholic) stuff that Brits are used with.

Naa it's tasty. Almost any high abv beer will give you a bad hang over if you get drunk on it. Same goes for wine or any spirit
