Rewards come first or week of new month, you have to keep in mind all tier rewards have to be packed and separated into different zips, you didn't get fucked over, you will get your rewards when they send them :)... Actually one of the reasons because famous character like Disney's stand in people's minds so many years is due to the great amount of any form of fanart the fandoms create and share everyday about them. All the big companies know this and of course they just don't care about people making little benefits with their characters as long as they're helping them to make them lasting. Just imagine what would happen if fanarts were illegal, each character would last like three months in the people's mind after the end of the show/movie releasing. Frozen at this point would be just a old forgotten movie without all its stuff from Deviantart, Tumblr, fandoms, fanfictions, doujins... and of course its porn.

I will never get what's the point of getting the same image with 50 variations of one or two details. I mean, I highly prefer 4 or 5 different scenes, with different poses or even different characters with not more than 5-10 variations, even if the price is higher. I don't know, 30 copies of the same image with little difference is just so boring and lazy since the artists don't redraw the entire pic, just change one element.

There's only so much a single artist can pump out in a month without fucking up their wrist permanently, honestly. Variations do take time, so I think it's a fair package. Having to draw multiple complex images would hike up the price, I imagine, and there would still be people complaining.

I don't agree with that at all. I'm a artist myself who spends a lot of time with the coloring, and I can say that many of the variations, as just changing open/closed mouths/eyes, some more fluids or just a flacid/hard dick are not that hard. In some variations the artist changes more complex elements as arms, legs or clothing, but let's be honest, most of the variations are just for a single little detail and/or a different combination of the previous ones used.

There's that sort of VN aesthetic; I think that's what they're going for. I'm an artist too, and yeah, I agree that some changes are very minimal. However, it's not like the artist reuses the image 50 times, they reuse it 3-5 times. There's still a bunch of original drawings, and to expect more than that is too harsh imo. 10-16 fully coloured images in 30 days is a hefty workload still.

Nah its not a strange way to phrase it, most of them did it in their free time and produced a few pieces every few months instead of trying hit quotas so they have enough to continue to sponsor a patreon, most of the artists who joined it haven't improved or changed style because they are constantly just cranking em out.
Artists like Szadeak, have however improved and still gives work away for free while taking REQUESTS AND COMISSIONS, not just asking people to pay for whatever they produce during a one month time frame.
I can't think of anytime I expected free stuff from artists on a monthly/ bi-monthly basis.

They might post their art like....a few weeks to a month in advance and then non-patrons eventually get to see it (like Redgart). They'll also do commissions to patreons who donate a lot, which is up to the commissioner to have public or private. Then you post any WIP's, sneak previews, tutorials, and things like that to patrons-only. That seems to be the general consensus I guess, anyway.
