So, question... Is YouTuber /y/ not allowed anymore?
It's an iffy topic to speak of. One person got triggered by it claiming it violated the "images depicting real people" rule, which I think wasn't violated, and reported the thread which eventually got it pruned. Since then, no one has made a new one. Sadly chances are that Trigger McLoser will probably come aback and have this thread pruned too. I kinda want the Hiro or a mod clarify the rule of real people, because I think it's meant to ban actual photos of people, not drawings and fanwork

The rule of posting images of real people is only a bannable offense is if it's an actual photograph/screencap or photo manipulations being posted, not fanart. That's how it's always been.
For example, the WWE thread is still up due to the fact all of the pictures in the thread are drawings, so the same rules apply to Youtubers, bands or actors. As long as it's drawn and 2D there should be no problems.

Not same anon, but if you're familiar with tracing, it's not impressive as it first seems. The hair is messed up, the shading just looks like a filter. The whole composition is terrible, even if it is actually a digital painting, and not just a quick shoop. Plus the juvenile text underneath, and the huge fucking iFunny logo. It's really pretty bad, anon.

He explains it in a video. He'd actually always been large growing up, and his extremely skinny stage was him eating <800 calories a day.
He also suffers from depression, and his medication affects his metabolism. He is also currently attempting to stop using food as a source of comfort, as it (of course) ultimately contributes to his declining opinion of himself. Vicious cycle and all that.
So he's working on it. Hopefully he can get to a good, healthy place with himself mentally, emotionally, and physically.

That's the thing though, I have yet to find any complaints about it and there's already been porn of them in hetero pairings so I don't see why it being gay would make that much of a difference. I was referring to the artists. I'd really like them to keep making smutty art, and they've explicitly said that if they found out that it as being posted on vinesauce forums, they'd stop. These artists get a lot of shit sometimes, so they generally try and keep there work within the small community of people who enjoy it. They realize that it's something that could also make the subject streamers extremely uncomfortable, so they prefer people enjoying the art to kinda keep it on the downlow. Monsierpaprika knows we post it here, but is fine with it HERE because it's a small community of people who enjoy it and seek it out.
I'm just suggesting you respect the wishes of the artist. I know this is the internet and you'll do as you please, but it'd be best not to scare of these artist if you'd like to see more stuff.

I'm not sure about some of the posts of youtubers here but basically the artists who draw the youtubers in question are depicting their online personality and not them personally. same with cry's persona ect. Plus people go to great lengths to make sure it's okay to creatively depict them in nsfw situations. Yeah, I consider there to be a separation between this sort of thing and the real people. I draw this stuff yet when I go into their streams or something I don't mention anything having to do with any of this stuff. I find I don't even think about it. I'm sure a million fan boys have jerked it to Black Widow or Caleese or whatever her name is but most of them wouldn't freak out on them if they met them in person. I go to conventions all the time where celebs do meet and greets without much incident so I know people are capable of finding the fantasy enticing while still observing the bounds of social acceptance. That's why even though there is the separation of the youtube persona from the actual person creating the content, many artists who draw erotic art involving real likenesses usually seem to keep it pretty tucked away to at least attempt to respect that boundary. At least that's what I try to do.

I agree with all of this, especially the 'persona' aspect of it... Like JackSepticEye for example, he goes by the name Jack because that's his username but in real life his name is actually Sean, therefore kinda proving the possibility of it being a persona of sorts.
As for the personality thing, being an actor or creative person in general you can't help but put a little bit of your own personality in what you create, that's the beauty of creating characters even if that character is based off of yourself... Like me and my character CJ ;)

Well most of the 'tubers themselves put out vlogs often reminding people they're just people and you don't necessarily know them by watching the videos. For instance if any of you watch Co-Optional Lounge or Secret Sundays on Totalbiscuit's channel, you might've seen them playing Secret hitler. They seem to argue and get really intense with each other to the point where some fans were tweeting at them and telling them not to fight and take back things they said, etc, to which they all responded by laughing it off and saying 'guys it's not real, relax. We're fine'. So even the people who don't have a definite persona like Frank or AVGN are all still performing to some extent. But whether you like to think of them as who they really are or as a character, I still think most people realize the fanart should be handled delicately. That stuff is supposed to be for fans to indulge in, not to disrupt the real lives of the people who inspired it.
