It's great you see the flaws, as it means you're aware and want to improve. I agree with your observations and also to feel you lost a sense of perspective
Take note especially of the upper arm, the point of the deltoid connects halfway down the humerus and points at the lateral epicondyle (outer bump of your elbow). This essentially means the deltoid should be wrapping back around the arm and the bicep should be more prominent in this piece. This too will greatly affect the pectorals.

Ah, thank you for the feedback. Looking at the image more closely, I realize that it looks like that because at one point, the arm was supposed to be laid at his side. When I moved it to the position it is now, I simply changed the forearm position without much thought to the bicep. Definite agreement with the lost sense of perspective.
