I'm not too familiar with the workings of Tumblr but I think if someone where to reblog something of him and tag it as Markiplier it won't appear in the main tag search results. Reblog tagging is mainly for the convenience of people searching a specific account. Of course people still could stumble onto it but most people who bother tagging thing will usually add nsfw which most people have blacklisted.
