Hey /x/, I'm going to be taking a road trip through the Texas/Oklahoma pan handle on the way to Colorado in 2 weeks.

I keep hearing on here that its one of the spoopiest areas of the country, where should I go to see some /x/ related stuff? Or are the spooks too strong there and should I just avoid it?

Don't have any suggestions, but the one time I drove through the Texas panhandle, it was through some of the thickest fog I have ever seen and it was near freezing temperatures outside. It was pretty spoop-tier. Enjoy your trip.
