Like how a god personifies and entire concept a daemon personifies a specific of that concept. like a certain river or a certain idea.

Daemons in the sense of familiars?
If you want to communicate with anything you should research psychology so you can understand and know yourself better(and also do meditation). You need to have the confidence of control over your mind fears and emotions before dealing with the unknown imo. But also winging it is fun and sometimes people thrive just winging it there whole life's.
