In 1999, the body of a man named Ricky McCormick was found in a rural area of Missouri, about 15 miles from his home. In his pockets were two pages filled with seemingly random letters, which have never successfully been deciphered. The circumstances of his death remain unknown.
In late 1872, the Mary Celeste was found floating in the Atlantic, her entire crew missing. The lifeboats were missing, there were no signs of a struggle, and the ship was stocked with days worth of supplies.

The body of the Isdal Woman was found in a mountainous reigon of Norway in November 1970. She was last seen alive with two threatening looking men who have never been found. Her identity, and the reason she was there, are still a mystery.
In 1922, a family was brutally murdered at their homestead in Germany. The killer was never found.
The Voynich Manuscript is believed to have been created in the 1400s, possibly in Northern Italy. It seems to depict a number of topics, such as botany, biology, astronomy, etc. It is written in an unidentified language, most of which has not been deciphered.
There is a hole on Oak Island in Canada known as The Money Pit. A number of strange items have been found inside, clearly left by humans.

In the Cleveland area during the Great Depression, as many as 20 people were viciously killed, decapitated, and mutilated. The killer was never caught.
The Wow! Signal was an extremely powerful radio signal, believed to have originated near the constellation Sagittarius. The cause was never discovered.
In 2009, the body of a man dubbed Peter Bergmann was found on a beach in Ireland. His true identity is still a mystery.

The Phaistos Disc is believed to have been created somewhere on the Greek island of Crete, possibly during the Bronze Age. Carved on it are over 200 strange glyphs. Its purpose remains unknown.
The body of an unidentified woman was found frozen in a creek in Wisconsin in 2008. Her killer, cause of death, and her identity are still a mystery.
Also I'd like to point out how spooky this render is. Uncanny valley as shit. And the dude even signed it.

The Long Man of Wilmington is located in England. Originally believed to have been created during prehistoric times, it is now possible that it could have been created as recently as the 1600s.

The guy who claimed to had seen her last apparently told the police some years ago that he had passed her a few days before her remains were found back in 70'. He claimed that the woman were followed by two men in black, and she herself were not properly dressed for the weather, while at the same time showing a distressed look on her face, as if she knew she fucked up. The guy explained to the police that he waited so long until telling because back then it was concluded that the cause of death was suicide, so he just kept the information for himself when the police told him to let it go (what brilliant police work right?).
Now this shines light on a few questions, such as was the man who made the claim lying? If not, who were the two men in black? If they were responsible for the murder, why did they not properly clean the crime scene? Were they short on time, or did they want it to be discovered?
It is still the most interesting unsolved cold case in Norway in my opinion, and I would love to get my hands on the police reports and all the other goodies related to the case.
In 2011, Rebecca Coraim was working as a stewardess on a Disney Cruise ship when she disappeared. Video surveillance shows her speaking on the phone with an unknown caller, clearly distraught. This is the last sighting of her.

ther is a case i found pretty weird. lars mittank was in bulgaria for some reason where he got into a fight with some people. he then wanted to fly home, but since he suffered damage in his ear during the fight he went to the doctor to get himself checked to know if he is able to fly. suddenly he runs out. on the survaillance camera footage you can see how he casually walks into the airport into the room of the doctor, and after some time runs out really quick, stops shortly in front of the airport and witness say he afterwards climbed above a 2m high barbed wired fence and never was seen again. any of you guys have an idea?

Villisca Axe Murders
>Family was killed while sleeping by an unknown assailant who likely hid in the attic until the family was asleep. The family had Sunday school guests over for a sleepover. No survivors.
I heard an podcast recently where the host speculated the axe murderer was using the railroad to hop from town to town, based on the railway stopping and going through Villisca, as well as a similar murder happening on the same line in a different town. If anyone's interested I could post a link, but it might take a while since that was a few months ago on a dead hard drive.

Spring Heel Jack, the troll of trolls
>Jack would assault Victorian women, "bleching" blue flame, making them pass out. His jumping ability helped him get away from cops. He had one notable attack where he claimed to be the police to get a noble woman to open the door, chasing and scarring the lady who was saved by family members.
Supposedly, a letter came in from an anonymous writer saying this was a noblemens' dare. The legend migrated to America with the last known sighting of this character.

I believe I read in an archaeological journal that each Maoi was a representation of a chief/king. It was a way of immortalizing them as a god and was part of the Rapa Nui's ancestral worship. When an old king died, there was a biathlon where those vying to be king would run a circuit on the island and then swim out to a small, steep-cliffed island that was surrounded by violent breakers off Easter Island's coast, climb a dangerous rock face where there were bird nests, then retrieve an egg, then scale back down the treacherous cliff, and swim back to the island with the egg unharmed. If the egg broke, they had to go back unless someone beat them to the finish line with an unharmed egg.

I watched a Youtube video on that, and it never mentions drugs. You'd think that the Airport or whoever the police etc. would have brought out he was carrying drugs.
The video mentions that after the fight with the Bulgarians, he did suffer ear damage, but then that could also have caused some type of brain damage. He got increasingly paranoid, and thought those Bulgarians were out to get him. My guess is some type of concussion or just brain damage that caused him to start seeing stuff or hearing things.
Maybe he thought he was about to get ambushed by the Bulgarians in the Doctor's office, even though it was just his delusions, so he hightailed it out of there.
Still jumping a fence and running into the forest while you're in a crowded city doesn't seem very smart. Smarter ways to "disappear" in a big city then to go unequipped into a forest in a foreign land.

Heres a modern one.
Le Loyon was an unkown person who lived in the woods of Switzerland. Loyon could be seen moving through the trees, or across paths and clearings. Sometimes he would follow people or watch them from afar then retreat if they were too close. Loyon was once reported picking flowers along a path. Loyon wore a boiler suit, a cloak, and a gas mask.
Adventually, people started to look for Le Loyon. This was too much for him/her. Le Loyon left a "Suicide note" stating that he/she did not like the attetion they were getting. Le Loyon left the gasmask along with the note.
Nobody knows who Le Loyon was, or his/her gender. There are many theories of what Le Loyon wanted and did, but all we know is they never ment anyone harm.

When it starts they said the boss wants this done and then they run in the house. a couple guys hold back what seems to be the babysitter and the guy with the camera picks up the baby and smashes it's head into the wall. Crazy shit, could be fake I dunno

Well, there is this https://www.youtube.com/user/GaiaOnline100k
Judging by the thumbnails they do seem to wear masks and their videos aren't Gaia Online related, but no way I'm going to watch that shit.
>>17919293
Jesus wept, that's unwholesome looking! I'm guessing the video was faked and the channel's ran by some edgy kids; but fucked if I'm going to watch those goddamn videos at 7am when I've been up all night on /x/. Gonna give myself a hernia.
>>17919296
Yeah I never watched any of their other videos and don't plan to. Hoping someone else remembers the video.
This one is recent
>from a rich and famous Brazilian family
>he was a member of a cult that drinks Ayhuasca (DMT)
>one day out of nowhere he decides to go to a desert beach
>he walks for 10 km even further on the beach, takes off his clothes and leave all his things on the sand
>jumps on the sea and dies
>his body is later found 25 km away with no eyes and no ears
They claim it was a suicide, but I don't know. Why would he go there to kill himself?

filling a endless hole by throwing everything in it. why? theres a crab peeple down there (what you may say as a germ). (theres more holes.. ex sparta and houska castle ukraine, where van helsing legends are born, and demons flew out of the hole to harass the villagers)
>>17911150
this is the best. is it a predictions of the future written down or just history? the first pic is a pyramid, second looks like a guy fishing, sounds like a history of humans. second disc may be predictions

could be related to skinwalkers? ive read england was haunted. reminds me of that spear man train tunnel creepy pasta, and its long man aka slender man...
>>17911163
stonehenge was a plot (theory) [probably by a timetraveler] to put roman technology [ex aquaduct] in ireland. why? to make them a superpower, if they were technologically advanced they could have defeated the british and germans and we wouldnt be in the mess we are now. [really good plan imo] and control the worlds food by not sharing the potatoe [really bad plan, was defeated by rice/flour], the irish gave up on it and didnt really care if they had running water or technology (they didnt bathe that often haha.. sad...)
>>17911278
theres like 0 articles on the internet that this happened. zoroastrians are the nicest people on the planet also. dafuq
>>17911099
creepy tho, the weapon was found months and months later in the attic. thats one reason i think it was a skinwalker hiding in the attic. the other is the house is the edge of a bunch of swamp/ponds.

Was looking around Wikipedia and found this: https://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haroon_Rahim
>"Haroon Rahim is a Pakistani former tennis player. The former Pakistan and Asian No. 1, Rahim was the youngest tennis player ever to play for Pakistan in the Davis Cup at 15 years of age. He was also the highest ranking Pakistani tennis player ever (a career-high singles ranking of World No. 44 in July 1977). Last known to be in the US, Haroon retired from tennis, severed contact with his family and his whereabouts are unknown."
Seems weird for him to up and leave his family like that. There doesn't seem to be a reason for it anyway. His family even commented on this article http://pakistan360degrees.com/pride-of-pakistan-haroon-rahim-the-unknown-hero/ asking about him and how they've heard he was in India. I wonder if he got caught up in some bad shit.

Zoroastrian tower of silence. They practice a form of sky burials, like the Tibetans do. The bodies are supposed to be eaten by vultures, but vultures are almost extinct in India. So they just rot in the sun.
>>17919482
i'm guessing this is extreme loony bait but 1) stonehenge is in england you absolute mongrel and 2) the potato is native to america, it was introduced to ireland and 3) we irish never fought the germans as a nation and 4) skinwalkers and crab people? really?
>>17921079
So did I, but Echols telling the detectives that the killer probably left them by water to wash off urine is creepy since they found urine in the stomach of those boys.
Misskelley during his many confessions told the cops that he was drunk on Evan Williams and threw the bottle at a certain location and the police found it exactly where he said it would be.
I understand false confessions but to give such a weird piece of evidence like that just to make the lawyer who is defending you to believe you did it is odd as fuck.
Add that with the blue wax they found on the boys that night and similar wax they found on Echols' clothes is odd again. Him lying about his alibi seals the deal for me at least.
>>17920242
He was floating around in the sea, what do you think would happen to his body. I'm sure some other parts were missing, too.
It's the same thing with the female hiker from Dyatlov Pass (pictured). Everyone keeps bragging about her missing tongue - and nobody mentions the eyes, hair, parts of the skin and the serious decomposition.
>>17921104
Bodies don't just decompose though. They need outside stimuli to begin rotting, such as the abrasive rubbing of flies and maggots against the flesh. Yet Russia is one of six countries without insects- Explain that James Randoofus!
>>17921098
you have a source? i haven't heard about any of those, then again i've only watched two docs.
i think the "satanic ritual" angle is total bullshit, and misskelley certainly was led by police to give convenient confessions. that info about echols has got me questioning him tho, but there's also the question of that extra dna found. have you heard of the man seen covered in dirt and blood seen in a gas station soon after the boys were believed to be murdered, and if so do you believe he was involved?
>>17921122
The other three are India, South Amerika, and London.
>>17921131
That man he is known as Mr. Bojangles. Such a shame the cops never investigated it properly. Here is the interview from echols http://callahan.8k.com/wm3/dwe.html

>Misskelley ConfessionS + corroborated by Physical evidence
>Fibers matching clothing of Baldwin found at the crime scene.
>Fibers matching clothing of Echols found at the crime scene.
>Same Candle wax found at Echols's home and on Steve Branch
>Murder Weapon eerily similar to one owned by Jason Baldwin. of which his GF claimed Damien had the same one.
>murder weapon found in lake behind Baldwin's house
>all three boys had clothing that was "stolen" after the murder
>iirc Jesse confessed to burning clothes for Damien and Baldwin
>Blood from Damien's necklace matched Jason Baldwin and Stevie Branch
>Three distinct knots used to tie the boys up (There goes Hobbs, btw)
>Eyewitness accounts put Baldwin and Echols at the crime scene during the murders
>Baldwin, Echols and Misskelley are yet to produce acceptable alibis. Baldwin didn't even attempt
>Misskelley and Echols failed polygraphs. Baldwin did not attempt.
There is piles more evidence.
>>17921246
Yeah, it blew my mind. Have been rethinking a lot of cases nowadays that I thought I had a good grasp of.
There is another theory about James Baldwin, it goes that he actually might have been confused with another of Echols friend that had a similar name. Interesting conspiracy but I can't find it now

>>17913907
People disappear all the fucking time. I don't see how people find it so hard to believe that someone can fall off the grid in a major city.
You could literally bury someone in the middle of a town square flower bed if no cameras were pointed in your direction and people would probably never find the corpse because no one expects it and no one cares to look.
Obviously that's an extreme example but most places, even in major cities, don't have 50 cctv cameras monitoring every nook and cranny at all times of day.
