I don't know about the existence of beings above or below us, I don't know or care what that means right now.
But there have been times, a time, in which I walked through a living hell -metaphorically- and came this close to losing my sanity -literally- that, though not at the time, only now looking back, do I realize I could not have pulled that off on my own. I finally talked about the experience with a good person today. The realization of this stumbled me in my tracks. I had a glimpse of something greater than me, or, I saw a part of myself I didn't know was there before. I saw some real fuckin' heavy weight strength. Was it inner fortitude, or was that something else? It scared me. Are we all that strong?

Will. That's not a thing. That's what a person tells themselves they have when they do a thing that was hard. It's a symbol for what they have done. No person can will themselves through hell. Well, no person outside of myth, or some story.
