Thanks for posting! There's several drawings of it maps which is weird. I was thinking it could be skellig Michael as well. A wizard was meant to live on by Brasil too. But the theories about it go from aliens to the cradle of civilization. Honestly I prefer the latter as I'm Irish and like to fantasize.

Hy-Brasil has also been identified with Porcupine Bank, a shoal in the Atlantic Ocean about 200 kilometres (120 mi) west of Ireland[9] and discovered in 1862.

So I guess it's just a shoal whose visibility varies over time. Neat anyway.
