It actually is a very old composting bin. I've seen tons like it before, because I live in farming country. The 'coffin' shape is just coincidence. Likely, at some point it buckled because someone jumped in it, or it was too full.
What's weird about it is that it's behind a crematorium, and that it's empty and looks like it hasn't been used in a long time. Why would someone leave a perfectly good composting bin? Why would a crematorium use a composting bin if it wasn't left there?
