I'm not sure what you mean! If you google Rider-Waite for the cards, they are the standard traditional artwork images for those cards.
I'm learning to read tarot now (or relearning as I used to be able to read it as a kid).
Is it ok to ignore reversals? I find that readings are just too often negative with reversals thrown in. Is it bad that I want to toss them out in part because I don't like the results I'm getting? It just seems like with reversals typically turning positive cards negative and negative cards more negative, the deck just gets too heavily stacked against you.

You don't have to use reversals. My deck, for instance, doesn't use them but if you happen to get one it says to turn the meaning of the card into a more negative meaning or its normal meaning. I think I said that correctly lol.

Yes, absolutely. If this is what you're doing, and you're aware of it, you need to adjust the way you approach reading. The cards tell you what you need to hear

Some people read with reversals, some without. I use reversals for most of my decks, but I find different decks have slightly different tones and some (few) don't read well with reversals. But this shouldn't be a decision based on whether or not the reading is too "negative". The choice about reversals is more about whether or not the reversals add or detract from the information you're trying to gain from the reading.
You use or ignore reversals based on how accurately you're receiving the message, not because you dislike the content of the message. If you don't want the message, you shouldn't be asking the question in the first place, right?

Maybe your definitions of reversals need adjustment. They're definitely not all negative - at least, not by how I (and most people) read them. They're more like alterations, alternative versions of cards...
For example... upright, a card might mean "this situation is happening", while reversed it could mean "this situation is being prevented from happening". Sometimes a reversals means you're not aware of something, ignoring something, putting something aside... You'll find a lot of the time reversals are more "personal" or tend to refer to internal (as opposed to external) conflicts.
But, in every case, it depends on the cards, the spread context, and the query context.
You're welcome to post some spreads you've done for advice. Or perhaps some of the reversed cards you've had that have bothered you.

Well I don't believe tarot tells the future, I think it just shows possible perspectives for you to consider, but it was getting depressing getting 90% negative readings due to incorporating reversals.
I'll try reading them from a different perspective. Most of the resources I've seen just take away any good from a reversed card.

There are a few methods for time predictions, but I haven't been able to get any of them to work myself. Still, a good system with good sortilege should theoretically work.
Rustig's classic tarot for beginners post (pic related) makes reference to studying the astrology of the tarot for predictions, and that reminds me if a complex method I saw once that involved using astrological timing, but I never tried that.

Unless it has been enchanted (different topic altogether), the deck has no inherent power; it's just a tool to be used by your own unconscious, or anything you call in if you perform rituals.
Assuming your deck is not enchanted, the most obvious explanation is inconsistent sortilege. Let's assume sortilege is on-point: the next most likely has to do with interpretation. If you pulled again, the most likely reason is that you didn't understand it perfectly the first time, right?
Barring those two, it's entirely likely that you are seeing a different aspect if the question, snd the probability of this increases if you use smaller spreads, which are less likely to encompass the whole picture. Let's assume you want to read for a decision you want to make an its outcome. It is entirely plausible that it might affect one aspect of your life in one way and another differently. There's also the issue of defining breadth and scope. Why would one relationship spread end in The Lovers and another end in The Tower? Could it be that it's passionate and pleasant on one timeline but destructive on a longer one? What if it is pleasant in itself but causes ruin in other aspects of life?
Lastly, and this is more theoretical-esoteric, but it could be that knowledge gained from the first spread has already affected your outcome. Imagine if you have a spread that tells you that you'll pass your exam, then get cocky about it and slack off a bit. If you read for it again, a subsequent accurate spread could feasibly show you failing it. This is one of the major reasons I prefer advice-heavy spreads instead of those that merely make a prediction.
And, of course, things like enchantments or calling in foreign influences will always have an effect, but those should be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, and it's often a bit difficult to get a satisfactorily logical answer.

You can bind something to it, but I'm not the best person to ask about that, though I will say it could potentially be dangerous, depending on what you do. The direct magic model of enchanting involves selective use of different types of energy and referencing a table of correspondences, but I didn't get very far into that because I found I could accomplish the same things with runes and more effectively. This was over 6 years ago that I looked into this, so I don't have much to tell you; I'd rather admit my insufficient knowledge than potentially lead you astray.

I don't see the need. I reverse-engineered divination and keep the "program" in a partition in my unconscious so I can use it with any tool. I like this better than having to mess with or prepare any of my tools. It also promotes growth towards one of my long-term occult goals of mutual integration between my conscious and unconscious.

Well that's actually a pretty vague query so I'll just tell you how the cards you drew play into each other. The four of wands is a good card to come up in a reading, especially in regards to how you will feel about something. Basically says that you will be ecstatic. The High Priestess and Judgement say to me that you will realize your capacity tochange what you do not like about yourself.
I also drew three extra cards, which are less positive. They suggest to me that you may eventually get too deep into your feelings and get hurt, and subsequently experience disillusionment.

That's where I got my deck too. I didn't enchant mine, I just treat it with respect and keep it with me at most times as it is a guide for my subconscious and the divine to achieve readings. It's an outlet , such as a pendulum or runes, for divination.

That was my first impression too, but I think the Knight of Cups is more on the emotional side of things as opposed to the romantic, but that is another aspect of it as well. The Three of Swords could be about a heartbreak in the romantic sense, but it could also be about just generally feeling hurt. It could go either way, I suppose just try to steer things in the direction you'd want them to go.
