While exploring some backwoods in Northeast Ohio, my friends and I found some very peculiar objects/ spots on one of my friend's private property in a very large forested area. I have quite a few pictures to post, so bear with me.
I'll share what I know and hopefully someone can provide some reasonable explanation for the findings. No idea what to think at this point
This photo and the previous contains a weird square-pipe structure about 3 ft square all around. It was in a well-traveled spot which my friend, lets call him B for the moment, knew this object was out of place.
No idea how it got there, but its some pretty heavy hardware.

Every weld on the object was wrapped well in electrical tape for whatever reason.
The entire hill was once a popular ski spot for the area, but it had since been shut down and dismantled for a few decades.
We thought it might have been something related to that, but B knew for a fact everything related to the resort was removed years ago.

Looks like an ancient sex toy i believe, Perhaps alien visitors where to caught up it their 2 hour long guivelasologasms and left it there.
This one really started the creep factor for us.
This was found not 20 ft from thee metal object. Both the head and stand are made from some hard, white solid stone. The head is affixed by a large bolt. Our first thoughts were that it was a target for guns/arrows, but stone isnt used for that.
Neither was there any bullet/arrow marks for it, but there was some strange scrape marks on it. It just looked like teeth marks to us.
You can see the weird marks around the edges of the base and slightly on the left side of the head. No idea what the purpose for this thing could be.
Also not even 15 ft from the head was this weird perimeter set by blue nylon string with branches set up for some kind of possible shelter/barrier
From this angle you can see the half-hexagon shape in which the string was tied to the trees. The string was tied about 4.5ft high. Too high for the purpose of keeping animals out.

The problem with that is that this is a very private area, difficult to access area. There are literally dozens of more easily accessible spots to dumb stuff at.

You could see these all around as well. Someone brought tools to cut the branches down with intent, not just breaking them by hand
I hope this doesn't make folks lose interest in this story, but this is as much a part of the story as the rest of it.
Probably another 20ft from the string-structure is a weird-ass fake christmas tree planted in the ground. No explicit reason why

As for the whole area I go with the art project angle. It could have been all set up for some wacky photo shoot. And then they just left all that junk there. Looks like you could get an ATV in there to haul in stuff. People get very involved at times with weird projects.
Some guy found a weird satanic alien thing made of wood in the woods of Newtown CT.
