Anyone here ever explored Chernobyl or even Pripyat? What was it like?

bump for interest
My boyfriend and I are planning on going to Chernobyl and Pripyat in a few years. Mostly because he loves Russia and urban exploring and I love spooky stuff and urban exploring. I'd be happy to hear if anyone had any experience.

Basically we know it's radioactive but whatever. It's pretty stupid but not the stupidest thing in the world.

Look up Exploring with Josh on youtube. He has a series where he explores Chernobyl
Yes, I actually have.
In CoD
It was full of radiation, badguys and dust.

It has reached safe levels, I actually had a class taught by the professor who was a graduate student working under the professor who found out that the reactor had blown.
