Hello residents of /x/, I don't visit this board much but I have a theory I would like to share. I'm sure many of have heard of the Third Man Factor? It's when an unknown force, nobody can explain, assists somebody when they need it the most. It's typically catered with "hallucinations" but I think it's different. I think when we go to sleep and dream, we become that third man that people need in desperate situations and neither person is able to explain it.

Continue as this relates to me but I just view it as higher powers/interdimensional beings.

It's not something I've thought much about but it's the only thing I can be able to understand. When we sleep, what do we do? Our body rests and recovers but our brain doesn't switch off. Third man factor might be connected with lucid dreaming (when you are aware of the dream while being within it). I want to follow and pursue this train of thought more..

A type of higher self essentially?
If the quantum exist imagine what lies beyond that, so on and so forth. Anything is possible.
