It was an ARG that had no real story. Videos were somehow decided on by dice rolls and fans influenced the plot by their guesses. It was however forced to be ended because some mentally ill piece of shit started stalking and even harassing people that they thought were involved that actually weren't. Supposedly he sexually harassed a 13 year old.

I'm really enjoying the HooH ARG happening on YouTube right now. Currently it seems to be about some alternate dimension that parallels earth that got overrun with monsters, particularly these mysterious giant flying squid creatures. I'd recommend checking out the channel and the channels HooH is subscribed to. Also make sure to turn on CC when watching the videos.
