I'm pretty sure it was a Sasquatch. they seem to be pretty common around these areas. i felt a small ping of fear but i had my gun loaded so i still felt somewhat safe. What's interesting, at least to me, was that I somehow felt pressure from it. It's hard to describe.
Here's more of an in the wilderness story than an in the wood story, cause it takes place in Southern NM, and its just brush land and desert here.
