When you get the listening part down you need to get blackmail on people to use against them. Make people depend on you and learn what they fear. Tear them apart from everyone else but you. You are right, everything else is wrong. If they do something wrong get extremely eratic and mad over it. Be feared by them but also be their #1 person in their life.

I ran a cult once, It's quite easy to brainwash people to believe anything you say as long as you are semi attractive and are good with words.
