Is anyone else here a believer in scientific pantheism?
Here, within biology I think there's a legitimate case for reincarnation. The body decays and gives life to new forms of life. The decomposing body gives life to many lesser forms of life. When dead maggots and single celled organisms are feeding on your flesh. In an ecosystem this energy would just keep ascending until it becomes a higher form of consciousness.
Am I alone here? Does conservation of matter mean that our body/spirit reincarnate back on Earth?

that's pretty far out dude
do you think plants and trees have souls?
Wat if I get eaten by shark? Do I become shark? Do I become shark poo?
That isn't reincarnation anon. I think you're trying to twist the meaning of the word to suit your theory.
But this is /x/, what the fuck do I expected
>When dead maggots and single celled organisms are feeding on your flesh.
What is embalming? What is mummification?
OP doesn't account for dying in a fire, or being a corpse in a pyre.
This doesn't seem particularly religious or spiritual, just sounds like common sense to me. It's not like we'd retain any memories from it or anything. Just energy recycling.

I'm not saying we become flies when we die but eventually another human is going to be created by your death as energy moves up the food chain.
