I was thinking about the Voigt-Kampff machine after finding my old copy of Do Androids. I consider myself to sway towards the sociopathic side (not being edgy, I just mean I hardly ever feel sympathy, I strongly believe morality is nothing but a societal construct, etc, etc) and I would love to see what the Voigt-Kampff would make of me personally.
I checked exactly what the machine tested...
"It measures bodily functions such as respiration, heart rate, blushing and eye movement in response to emotionally provocative questions."
Surely there are living people who could register as a replicant. Thoughts?
Also, can anyone come up with a genuine question that could be used (with or without the V-K machine) that would have a good result to root out a rep'?

Also, it really isn't that I don't care about stuff. Of course I do, but I also realise that's because I'm a human being and we're inherently flawed in many ways. There really is no such thing as a selfless act, especially on an evolutionary basis. Morality is an extension of something that doesn't truly exist, and we all subscribe to it all the same. Myself included. I don't claim to be a sociopath, only that I agree with the principles, in principle.
Anyway the issue of morality and sociopathic tendencies is for another thread, I made myself clear for those who actually bother to pay attention.
