Does anyone have any detail information on Operation Highjump?
My interest has always been peaked by the possibility of a contingent of National Socialists being there.

I just remembered it is. So yeah basically 1 year after WW2, USA sends a naval patrol boat to the alleged German colony in Antartica named Neüschwabenland. They report skirmishes with UFO's which might be Sekrit Nazi Airplanes.
One year after that they nuke it under pretenses that they are testing nukes and launch an amphibious invasion. Soon after they retreat. They either wiped out the Nazis or were pushed back. There are a lot of contradicting and misleading reports about the events. It's pretty fishy.

It's what I believe to be Admiral Byrd's attempt at seeing what lay there after the war (after recieving intel of there being NS forces there?).
He did say there were flying objects that could reach pole to pole at amazing speeds.

Well they claimed Neüschwabenland in 1936 and there are implications (paper trails and resoure alocations) that they made a port,airfield and research facility. They also created a special light patrol cruiser class for tending of colonies at that time eaven if the Third Reich had none. Also thhe fact that a lot of nazi elites escaped to Argentina via U-boats might just be a stop along their way to Neüschwabenland. Who knows man? Even the US nuking of the area is mysterious since it seems they missed entirely.

I watched an old documentary when way back,and also I'm pretty sure the american nuclear tests in the Antarctica are highly connected. They did happen in 1947. If you want evidence you could probably gather some crumbs by searching on the internet. Or something bigger by going "deeper", just saying. Also about you wanting to go there be careful and prepared.I believe we never reached the middle of Antarctica let alone went to the Moon.

Yeah after WWII the navy had a whole bunch of ships they didn't know what to do with. Sometimes they would just blow up a whole shitload of them with nukes just to see what would happen.
They were basically looking for something to do with all their ships and personal, so they had this big operation where they went to Antarctica. They tested and trained their crews for cold weather environments. (Presumably in the event of a war with Russia, there'd be a lot of fighting in the argument). They made more accurate maps. They built a research base. They were looking into the possibilities of building military bases, in case the Russians were trying to do the same thing. This last bit would be rendered moot when everybody established treaties to keep Antarctica off limits to military expansion.
They didn't find UFOs. They didn't find "the firmament." They didn't find the edge of the world.
I think they searched something, but didnt find it, or get to it, and then just decided to try destroying it with nukes.
