How so you make your own board? Just by writing down the letters and numbers on a large piece of paper?
I've tried it with a self made board and on my own and nothing happened. Was I doing something wrong or am I just boring enough to be ignored by spirits?

If a ouijiboard works, why should there be a different between a pree made and a home made boards? If the "spirits" wants to communicate, I'm pretty sure they don't care about what it's made of - Why else would it work, when people use a a factory mass product made board?
In generally I do not belive it's a good idea to contact the so called spirit world, via those boards, you have no idea what you'll get in the other end, and have no idea to be sure, what/who your'e communicating with, is telling the truth about it's intentions.. or any thing in general...
