>he comes back in and takes his place on his little doggie bed in the corner of my bedroom
>sleep
>alarm goes off once more in the night
>look over to see the dog still in bed
>search the house once more to find nothing
>head back to bed
>get in bed, turn to turn off lamp
>catch a glimpse of my dog gone limp on his dog bed with a kitchen knife in his spine.
I put that knife away in a drawer...wtf
