Hi, I've recently moved into a new house with my family, a really nice place and a nice neighborhood and everything. But ever since we moved here some strange things have been happening, every night I'm woken up by something at exactly three am. I don't know what it is, but i'm always feeling very scared after I wake up and I cant go back to sleep. Why is this happening to me? Why three am every night? Could it just be coincidence? How can I make it stop?

I've heard that 3:00 AM is the "Devils Hour". I don't know you'll have to do some research.

Coincidence.

Waking up at the same time every night is extremely common.

Probably something that happens every night at 3am, a neighbor going to work or something

you may not rest now, there are monsters nearby

I've had this happen before, and usually it happens like this, it happens ones, maybe because of a dream or a noise outside, you then obsess a bit over it and that makes it happens more because your focusing on it and your brain sorta turns it into a routine. It could also be that if you are going to bed at the same time every night that 3 am is when your brain and body enter a certain type of sleep. If you're in a new place it may be thaf you simply are not accustomed or completely comfortable and this might be making it difficult for you to enter deep or REM sleep. Or a train going by or a car door something that happens at that time. Unless pictures start flying off the wall or things are moved around or you start hearing whispers from the floorboards :p my guess is that it is probably an abnormal sleep cycle or a very mild psychological issue. Try doing some relaxed breathing, self talk and maybe changing your schedule by perhaps half an hour. See how it goes?

There is nothing spooky about waking up at 3am, OP.
Most people wake up in the middle of the night. Don't worry about making it stop
