I know people thatkeep their lights on because they believe the myth that it actually saves energy somehow or increases lifespan of the light bulbs themselves. OR he's paranoid (because he work at night, or something.) and leaves them on to keep people from breaking in. My family did that when I was a kid if we went on long vacations.
