Get scissors ready and when mom and dad question you take care of them .:-)
Tell them that your dog came back from outside behaving oddly as if it was hurt, it lied down and stopped moving few minutes afterwards. Even if they took it to vet and were able to prove that it was hit. Then you can blame it on someone outside entering your lawn and damaging your dog
