Hello, for the past month I have been puzzled with what I can only describe as strange duality (yin and yan alike) symbolism I started seeing.
Can someone explain the origin ? Here I provide a picture as an example.
In general its like a line in the middle, which inverts colours of the left side to the right.
For ex - if it was black, it becomes white.
Not to go off topic but is the horizontal inversion on playing card with K,Q,J related?

It's the breaking down of understood reality in a simple division of its components. Duality is one of the esoteric explanations of such observervations.

The concept is the following, I took an octagram and decided to plot X and Y axises on it. Y would be for polarity (we have a middle point 0 in the middle, if something is above it it than has a positive polarity, if something is below it than it has a negative polarity). It could be interpreted as positive polarity would stand for hot, and negative for cold. Or positive for something happy, and negative for something sad, and etc. Anyway, also the Y axis divides the X axis of time in two. In the middle is the present, to the left of it is past and to the right is future. I've added 4 more colored lines to show possible directions. And Active stands for future, therefore active energy. Passive stands for past energy.
